UCMJ and article 134?
Is it possible for two civilians to be charged under the UCMJ under article 134 wrongful cohabitation or adultery (no sexual intercourse has taken place). neither party is contracted with the DoD in any way. One is the spouse of a soldier but is in no other way involved with the DoD. Everything I'm reading says no but I have some people telling me yes.
3 AnswersMilitary1 decade agoCervix shortening in the ultrasound?
I had my first ultrasound on Wednesday. My doctor called me on Thursday while I was out. I called her back yesterday and she said it wasn't an emergancy. They were a little concerned because it looked in the ultrasound like my cervix was shortening. They are going to do a second ultrasound when I go in next time (in about two weeks). Should I be concerned? I know if my doctor was really concerned I would've been in yesterday. I'm just having one of those paranoid mommy moments. Anyone dealt with this?
1 AnswerPregnancy1 decade agoI have an almost 2 year old with one on the way...?
I am about 20 weeks with our second child. My first child is 21 months old. I want to get her involved in this because I don't want her to feel left out or think the new baby is taking her place. I'm pretty sure she's too little to understand the "It's my baby too" sibling classes. She "knows" there is a baby in mommy's belly. She kisses the baby and hugs the baby. Is there anything else I can do to keep her involved??
6 AnswersNewborn & Baby1 decade agoAm I just paranoid?
My husband is a considerably compassionate person. He'll be the ear for anyone who wants to talk. He recently struck up a friendship with a co-worker (we work in the same place) She's the girlfriend of a soldier who is away right now. I understand she's having a hard time but it seems like she's getting really attached. Last week we went out with our friends to a bar. He spent a good 90 minutes out of 2 hours on the phone with her "Just BSing". But he can't tell me what they are talking about. Suddenly he has a problem with me looking at the texts on his phone. He hasn't been alone with her yet. She's been known to cheat on her own BF. My husband insists he won't let anything happen. Last two times he's struck a similar friendship, the girls claimed he cheated on me. We later found out they were lying but I really don't want to go there again. Am I just paranoid or am I right to be suspicious?
17 AnswersMarriage & Divorce1 decade agoI have an installment loan for my car...?
Recently, our financial situation has changed and we are unable to afford payments. We would sell the car to pay off the loan but we would not be able to get enough to pay off the loan and start over. I would like to do something to lower our payment so we can keep the car. This is our only running vehicle right now. What can we do?
4 AnswersPersonal Finance1 decade agoWhat do you think of this?
I've been reading about people calling our troops babykillers and trained murderers, people saying that our troops are mean, uneducated, whatever. They say we are killing innocent civilians without a second thought. We aren't playing by the rules of the Geneva Convention or whatever. Here's something for you: Make our enemy play by the rules. We at least try to fight them outside of towns, away from innocent people. They send children, yes CHILDREN, running up to our soldiers with a bomb strapped to them and detonate it. AND WE'RE THE BAD GUYS???? Come on! We don't strap bombs to ourselves and detonate in a busy market. We don't use women and children as means to kill an American. Why should we play by the rules when they don't?

2 AnswersSociology1 decade agoMy husband is planning a second honeymoon for us to Mexico?
He wants me to choose where. I'd love to go back to Cuernavaca but I don't know where to choose. I want us to go somewhere that is close to ancient ruins. The view is amazing from the top of pyramids and my husband has never been...Any suggestions?
12 AnswersOther - Mexico1 decade agoI just watched a story on Discovery Heath, would you do this?
This woman's water broke at a restuarant and her contractions were steady within ten minutes. The hospital was 30 minutes away. The husband sped and was eventually caught by the cops while his wife is in active labor. HE PULLED OVER!!!! The baby was delivered on the side of the road within a few minutes. Luckily nothing was wrong with the baby or mommy. Would you have pulled over or let your significant other pull over?
Personally, I would've found a way to tell the officer to that we were in labor and we needed to get the hospital NOW! I would've called 911 or something and let them know that I was in labor and didn't care if they wanted to pull us over. I would've said you can do that at the hospital after I get there. What do you think?

35 AnswersBaby Names1 decade agoQuestion for breastfeeding moms: When did you have your period again?
I'll get right to the point: I had a baby five months ago. I am a breast feeding mom. My husband and I had sex right before he left for basic training two weeks ago. About four or five days ago, I had some light bleeding and cramps so I thought I was have a period but it stopped after two days. I'm not asking if I could be pregnant. That's a duh. But I was just wondering: if you are a breastfeeding mom, when did you have your first period after you had the baby and what was it like?
9 AnswersOther - Pregnancy & Parenting1 decade agoHow do I deal with this?
My husband was sworn into the Army National Guard on Monday. We've been on this roller coaster for about a year now. He was considering active Army then he took a break from the military for a while then he decided to check out the National Guard. My brother is in the Guard as well. I'm proud of him but at the same time I'm not ready for him to leave us for that long. He's going to leave for basic training in two weeks. What happens now? Anyone else a military spouse? How did you deal with this? He's leaving so soon! I don't know...I guess I'm just a little cautious with him leaving so soon! What do you think?
