5 AnswersCooking & Recipes1 decade agoHow do I freeze this pasties?
I have some food left over from a roast, and want to make pasties with them to keep in the freezer for packed lunches, emergency dinners etc. Should I freeze them up with the pastry raw or cooked? Does it make a difference to the end result?
Thanks! :)
4 AnswersCooking & Recipes1 decade agoCan I sterilise my baby's feeding equipment in a normal food steamer?
My daughter is now 6 months old - it occurred to me while I had the steamer on for dinner and at the same time, the steam steriliser for my daughter's things - can I just use the main steamer for sterilising her feeding stuff as well? (obviously not at the same time as the food!) Thanks, look forward to the answers!

10 AnswersScottish Football1 decade agoI can't send picture messages on my Siemens T830 PDA - can anyone help?
I have been given a Fujitsu Siemens T830 Pocket L00X and changed over my Vodafone sim and can do everything except send picture messages. I can make calls and text normal messages. I've called the vodafone helpdesk and they say the phone isn't capable of sending MMS mesages, but it has the option to do this on the phone - the only message I get after I've tried is "unable to send message".
Has anyone had this happen and can you help?
Thanks.
1 AnswerPDAs & Handhelds1 decade agoWhat can I grow next?
I started growing my own veg and herbs last spring, and have had some lovely tomatoes, runner beans and spring onions from it. Now everything has pretty much been harvested, is there anything I could be planting now to keep the cycle going? I know it's going to be winter soon so not sure what will last through...

I mean do you pay for them to be released for a short time and then get your money back when they return (like an insurance they will come back) or are you essentially paying for their release and you lose the money you pay? I just saw it on a few movies and it got me thinking....
7 AnswersLaw & Ethics1 decade agoAre there any regulations that force a parent to take their child to primary school?
My husband's ex-wife seems to be giving their daughter (aged 5) lots of days off school (so she can go out the night before and leave her with someone, or when she sees her boyfriend etc). Just last term there were 12 days that we KNOW about. Is this excessive? And do the school follow this up? We are keen for her to have some stability and go to school regularly but it doesn't seem to be happening. :(
23 AnswersParenting1 decade agoChristmas cake problem?
I baked a Christmas cake last week. I've been "feeding" it with brandy a couple of times since it came out of the oven and then wrapping it back up. Thing is, I have just cut it and inside it looks ever so slightly soft and a darker colour than towards the outside. Is it cooked? It was in the oven for hours - and I did the skewer test when it was cooking and that was fine. Can I eat it do you think? I'm not sure if it was the brandy that has made it go a bit soggy in the middle. Help!
