Need help with kinematics equations?
So I know that if you want to calculate the average speed you take the distance over time. So lets say the distance traveled was 200m over 6.509s, the speed would be 30.7266.
Now I manipulated the following kinematic equations assuming that the initial velocity and position are zero:
Vf = at+Vi
Xf = at^2+Vit+xi
to get:
Vf=(2*Xf)/t
So my problem is that I am not getting the same final velocity if I plug in the values from above. The final velocity is twice as big so I know that the 2 in the equation is throwing me off. Why is the two in there? Did I messed up my algebra? I did it all over again but keep getting the same thing, I dont know what i am doing wrong.

Post 9/ll GI bill: How are your total benefits deducted?
Hello, I was wondering how the VA deducts your benefits. If you got to school full time for 4 month that is minus 4, so 36-4= 32. If you go to school half time over a period of 4 months, does that mean only 2 months of benefits are exhausted? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

1 AnswerMathematics1 decade agoHouse is vandalized while in escrow, now what?
Hello, my family and I live in California and have been really excited about moving into a house after renting for 14 years. We have been in escrow for two weeks now. We are buying a house from an investment group, so the house has been vacant for a while. Just this week my brother drove by the property and notice one of the doors open. He did not want to go inside so he let our real estate agent know. I went today with my father to see the house from the inside and the dry walls have been torn and the floors were all wet. We are really upset now. What can we do? Will my dad have to pay for those damages or is the seller responsible? We really like the house so we do not want to lose it. Any info would be nice, thank you.

1 AnswerMathematics1 decade agoHow would you find the period of the square root of sin x?
So i know that the period for a sine wave is 2pi, the formula for finding the period of sin and cosine is 2pi/b, where b is the constant next to the x in sine. But how would you find it when dealing with exponents, especially square roots?

Hello, I am taking calculus and I have always had trouble with these, I am being asked to graph this function and I understand how to do apply 1st and 2nd derivative test to see how the functions looks but I cannot find the x-intercept. I would greatly appreciate any tips as to how to solve these types of polynomials. Thanks a bunch.
1 AnswerMathematics1 decade agoWhat rights do people who live in a rental house have when the unit is being sold?
Hello, I currently rent a house in Los Angeles with my family. We have lived here for close to 15 years. My aunt owns a duplex and we have paid rent during the entire time period. Recently she informed us that they will put both properties for sale. Its kind of a short notice and everything seems to be turned upside down on us. Strangers have been walking in our house to see it and it feels weird. I took a look at the listing for the houses and it says that the units will be turned in vacant. So I am like WTF?! So I was wondering what rights do we have if any? I mean we are scrabbling trying to find a new place to live now. Any responses would greatly pretty appreciated. Thanks.
