  • How much does it cost to translate?

I want 10-15 words translated most probably from English > Latin with proof reading. Its in a tattoo of remembrance for my mum and dad. I live in Leeds, England. I'm not 100% yet what its going to say but it will be fairly short.

    Cheers, Arron.

  • A ZX6R as a first bike?

I know that a 600cc isn't advised for someone that's still "wet behind the ears" but its the bike that I love. I'll tell you a bit about myself. I'm 20 years old and a university student studying to be a doctor. I'd say I'm pretty sensible and after studying Forensic Science and traffic incidents I certainly don't want to end up in pictures like them. Its the bike I absolutely love. I'd say I'm pretty sensible. So I plan to buy the bike and then restrict it so I don't end up **** over tit. I know some people are going to wonder why I don't just get a smaller bike but its the bike I've wanted for a long time.

  • How much do University lecturers get paid?

I checked my Universities website and it seems around the 30k mark. I know most of my lecturers (Biomedical Science and Academic Medicine) also run research projects and labs. Do they also get paid for this? I think most of the research is funded by charities. If they do get paid for their research how much do they get paid? For example in Immunology, Cancer or Neuroscience?

    Cheers in advance!

  • If its a women's decision to abort a child shouldn't it be a guys to refuse to pay for a child?

I guess this isn't so much of a question looking for a definitive answer because there isn't one. I guess Im just looking for opinions. I personally think that if its a women's decision to have an abortion then it should be a mans to pay for a child! Although of course it isn't an ideal situation and if you don't want a baby either put something on the end of it or don't spread your legs! My late mother used to say to me "whats good for the goose is good for the gander" and I strongly believe that!

So, I am applying for Uni to study Biomedical Science. I was wondering what I would be able to do after a Degree,Masters and hopefully a PhD. I would ideally like to go into research but I am also interested in a more applied aspect of Biomedical Science.

    Thanks in advance, Arron.

  • A few questions for Paramedics.?

So after College I am planning on studying Paramedic Science. Although I have a few questions. Firstly, will a Uni accept me I am currently studying Forensic Science as part of this we study Bio Chemistry,Genetics and Medical Physics. We also studied Microbiology last year. My tutor says that at least a third of my course is Chemistry,Biology or Physics based but I was just wondering if I study enough of the main science's to be able to study Medicine. My second question is for anyone that works within Medicine specifically Emergency Medical Care. How do you find it whats the advantages and disadvantages? Finally is the course hard I mean I understand that Im going to Uni so and Medicine so its going to be more difficult but how hard is it really?

Thanks in advance for your answers.

  • So Im getting my Lip pierced and I have a few questions.?

So, me and a Friend are going for piercings. I'm getting my Lip pierced (bottom left) and I was wondering does it hurt and if I don't like it how long before I can take the piercing out and if I do choose to take it out is it going to scar and if so how bad is the scar going to be. Im a 17 and a half year old male that doesn't drink or smoke just in case that effects healing rate. Also, if I have my lip pierced next week am I going to be able to donate blood on the 13th of November.

    Thanks in Advance
