All i've heard about Stalin is that he's a terrible dictator but i really think that he did many good things for Russia such as industrializing it and defeating the Nazis

i don't want this to turn into a political argument or anything

im just confused as to whether the good things he did could outweigh the millions of people he killed in the process?

I'm planning on getting a tattoo of the famous quote by Martin Luther King "A Lie Can Not Live". It's gonna be about 7cm long and I'm not sure whether to get it in the middle of my lower back or on the front, lower part of my right hip? Any advice?

I was given a documentary and an essay about the Renaissance, written and directed by the same person and was told to write on essay on what i learned more from. So in general, which would someone learn more from, a documentary or an essay? (Oh and they're both equally as good so quality isn't an issue)
