Norse Folktru Reconstructionist Heathen and Texatruar. I believe in the ancient godhs of the Norse because they are my ethnic and cultural birthright; the godhs of my literal and direct ancestors. I believe in them because the wisdom of the culture they inspired still works to improve my life and Luck in the world *I* live in today, and because I find the heroic deeds of the stalwart men of old who looked to them for strength, fortitude and victory inspiring and praiseworthy. I believe in them because the sun rises, the wind blows, the rain falls, and the fertile and fecund earth gives up her bounty. I believe in them as I believe in my own ancestors, and I honor and venerate both.
