  • My 22 month old son has hard stool. Any suggestions please?

My 22 month old has always struggled with his bowel movements on and off since he was a baby. He does have regular bowel movements every day, but a lot of the time they are very hard and he struggles passing them . A couple of times they have even gotten stuck and I have had to remove them. I have discussed this with his doctor on many occasions and they just tell me it's normal and to give him more juice. My son drinks a lot during the day. We give him water mixed with appple juice. We have tried grape juice but he will not drink it. He also gets milk in the morning and night. We have changed his diet, adding more fresh fruits and vegetables, but perhaps I am not adding the right ones, because it doesn't seem to help a lot.

Has anyone gone through this with their child. Any suggestions on what I can give him or not give him? Any advice you have to offer would be appreciated. It breaks my heart to see him have to struggle with this so much. Thank you.

  • Could I have Post-Pill Amenorrhea?

I had a baby by c-section 7 months ago and went on birth control pills at my 6 week checkup which was in December.I continued the pills for only 3 months because I was having periods every other week.I stopped the pills in Feb, had my period once I stopped the pills and had a regular period in March.I have not had another one since.I have always been regular with my periods,so this has caught me off guard.I am not pregnant,I've tested 3 times to make sure.I was doing research and read about post-pill amenorrhea and think that this is what it could be.Although all the other people that I read about had been on birth control for at least 2 years.Could I still have it even though I was only on the pill for 3 months?

  • After c-section, has anyone experienced irregular periods?

After c-section, has anyone experienced irregular periods?

I had my first child almost 5 months ago,an emergency c-section, and since then I have experienced irregular menstrual cycles.I get 2-3 a month, and I have been on birth control for 3 months now and am not breastfeeding.I read that it is normal to have some sort of bleeding but they said being on birth control should help. Also now every time I am getting ready to start my entire stomach region aches.I'm exhausted, I know partly because I have a 5 month old but unusually tired, lacking any kind of motivation, do u think this could be from my never ending periods?Has anyone else experienced this?My doctor doesn't seem to be any help.

  • Survivor of suicide...What can I do?

My dad committed suicide almost 3 years ago.It will be 3 years in April. My mom has a really hard time during April and May, they would have been married for 34 years in May.I keep telling her she needs to go to counseling for this but she insists she cannot afford it.Does anyone know resources that are available to the public that offer lower costs?

  • Is it normal to experience aches in your body 3 months after having a c-section?

I gave birth to my son 31/2 months ago.He is my first child,I carried to 41 weeks and then they induced me.After about 15 hours of labor and 2 hours of pushing he would not descend into the birth canal, so they gave me an emergency c-section.While I was in labor I had an epidural which did not help relieve the pain for very long. When I went in for surgery they gave me more pain medicine, and I was told I would just feel tugging.Which I did,but I also felt the pain of them cutting into me and burning from whatever else they were doing.I told them and they said they could not give me any more pain medicine until after the procedure. The total operation took 2 hours.Everything went fine my son is happy and healthy and I quickly recovered.I was up by the next day and running around in a week.I've noticed though that since I have had the operation I have aching pains in my abdomen and back.Sometimes they get really intense.I know it takes a while to recover from a csection, but is this normal?
