using a mix of brown bread powder , bread crumbs , Vanilla power, sweet potato , all mix up to makes a dry type of paste , , this is what the locals are using this is in Asia and pond fishing , just wonder what i can add to stop it dissolving , also have the problems of very small fish nibbling away at the bait , is there some think to make it bind harder , thks ,

i see a loy of cat fish in the pond i fish , but not sure on what bait to use to catch them , any ideas would be appreciated

got the answer ,but told to use a bobber with a spring hook , not sure what this is ,, and is there a tackle i can use , for pond fishing depth about 4ft , that can fish for top feeders and bottom feeding fish at the same time , thanks , Glyn

simple one , if i take out my sim card out of my mobile over night or turn my phone off, and then replace in the morning will i still rec messages sent during the night , or will they be lost

i fish in a fresh water pond in Asia , water is about 4ft deep on average , need to set tackle that can catch the top feeder , and bottom feeders , as several types of fish placed in pond depending on the season ,

I use live prawns to fish in the tropics Asia, use a air pump , but prawns not staying alive for more than 2 hrs ,I try a little ice to pro long their life , any other solution would be appreciated

i seem to be for ever getting crossed lines ,the pond is square and every body seems to like casting to the same spot , is there a way to avoid this cross line saga, or just move to quieter place , as it just spoils the day

eyes are a little old , now finding it difficult to see a float in strong sun light , what colour is best in this situation .

I have been making a sliding weight steel line 15lb then fix to hook , by pressing metal clasp not sure off name line goes through centre and pliers applied to make it hold , ,but have found when hauling in large fish hook is pulling loose from metal clasp , , also attaching a hook in middle of line . like a fl-yer to catch top feeding fish , ,but clasp when pressed is flat and sharp so cuts the line when catching a large fish ,,hope this make sense and some body can give advice thks

I see mainly two types of real one spinning type and the line spirals of the front , I have forgotten the name of these reels , but wish to know which is the best for casting , with out getting a birds nest , and what size should i be looking at for 15-20 lb line / thanks

Now I go into shop with my mouth open looking for a good casting rod , is there going to be a way i can tell if the rod will cast , just by looking and feeling sample , or do I rely on luck , makes in Asia are different to U.S.A and U.K , so I can not go by name on rods ,, sorry to keep harping on ,thks

OK TRYING TO NARROW DOWN MY OPTIONS now selecting 12ft rod , 15lb braided line , and a 20z Weight , , I gather a beach casting rod can be used for casting long distances on fresh water lakes as well ,, am i correct in thinking this ? again thanks for your help .

I have seen several rods 15ft to 11ft in lenght , my long rod is about 15ft casts out ok , i have a 8ft rod and casts a lot less distance , , then I see some people using 8ft rods and go out further than i can with my 15ft rod with same tackle , Lugging around my 15ft rod is also a bind , should I be looking around a a new rod say 11ft ,and are there better casting rods names i shouls be looking for ,

as I'm in a artificial environment as in pond fishing for sea fish , and pay by the hour , using dead fish slices for bait , and some time dead prawns , need to liven up the fish bait , I can not find one suggestion which was Cabelas, thanks

Was watching one fisherman while baiting his hook from a distant , and he added a liquid to the dead fish bait he was using , sea fishing in mouth of river, essence I know some people use on fresh water fish out in Asia, Sea fish I'm, told ,have a strong sense of smell , specially the bottom feeders , is this an old wives tale ;-) freshening up bait with a bit of fish blood perhaps ?

I want to try a bit of spinning in a large lake , but again can not get my lure , plastic fish , rubber frog , and other lures out to the place i think the fish are , if I add weight to the swimming lure will it restrict its movement , then where to add the weight to cast it out , ? THAnks

Got my new rod for casting but I'm about 10 feet short from the spot I want to be , When set up I can make the distance with just the weight attached , when I add my bait I loose distance , any tips to help me get my desired cast , THAnks
