Sorry, Chemistry has not been going well since it became my first period. Chemistry is hard enough to stay awake in normally, when you add it starting at 7:30 I am doomed.

First off:

6.0 mol of N2 are mixed with 12.0 mol of H2 according to the equation: N2(g) + 3H2(g) -> 2NH3(g)

A) Which chemical is in excess? What is the excess amount of mols?

Shouldn't it be H2?

B) Theoretically, how many mols of NH3 will be produced

And then:

Acetylene gas, C2H2, is burned to provide the high temperature needed in welding.

A) Balanced - 2(C2H2) + 5O2 -> 2(H2O) + 4(CO2)

B) IF 1.0 mol of C2H2 is burned, how many mols of CO2 are formed?

C) How many mols of oxygen gas are consumed?
