As a mother I find this a bit different from when I grew up. Just wondered if this is socially accepted in the teenage world today for an "alleged" hetersexual boy to have a couple of buddies that are gay a couple of straight friends and then even more platonic girlfriends. He talks on the phone on a regular basis with one of the gay friends and then his platonic girlfriends. I just find this suspicious and a bit unusual through my eyes. Could it be all in my head? I worry about it for many reasons, I grew up witht he belief that it is boy and girl, not the other way around. Do I turn my nose up at gay people, no, of course not. Their business is their business. People are never concerned until it hits home. Some of you liberated ones out there will probably have strong opinions on this one but the strong eventually turn weak if this was to hit close to home. Serious replies please.

Do you feel that if a boy grew up around a lot of women or hung around his mother most of the time due to lack of positive male role models would have a harder time with relationships with women when he got older or doy ou think this would increase his chances of becoming gay ( no offense gay men out there) this is just an honest question that intrigues me) Feel free as a hetersexual male or a gay men to give your opinion. I thought I asked this question but cant seem to find it, forgive me if already asked.

My friends and I were discussing how the government really wants you to buy into everything they present to us, including that one time we "allegedly" landed on the moon. What are your serious opinions, Do you really think we the US landed on the moon or just a hoax/stunt filmed somewhere in open area?

Relocating within 6 months to Phoenix, AZ and would like to know what areas in your opinion are culturally diverse. I like some of everything. Give me some areas, like cross streets or maybe you have examples of some diverse apartment complexes (eeekkkk, make the areas scorpion free)

Why do women not realize they have a choice? If you do not want the baby then why is it so hard to just put the little binkers up for adoption? I don't know if this is for all states but here in Illinois, they passed the law where you could have the baby and if you did not want to even be on record, you could leave the baby at a safe place like a hospital or fire station and not be held criminally negligent. PLEAAASSSE women, wake up and stop thinking about only yourselves. There are choices. What is your input on the behavior of some of these young women.

I go out to lunch with a co-worker practically everyday and the same choices just get boring and I don't even look forward to having to pick out a restaurant or fast food joint. Is it appropriate for me to just bring a sandwich, fruit and snack from home and buy the drink from the restaurant? I figure not only would I be ahppier with my slection but I could save money. Never really thought about it until now but is this appropriate and acceptable dining Etiquette?

Wearing a thong is your perogative, but if you are in a professional environment, shouldn't you keep it hidden and not have it peeping out of your pants, onto your back? I am in a business casual office environment ( not a tattoo parlor) with a dress code and one of the skanks here seems to think business casual means .. dress slacks, dress top and her shimmery thong coming outside of her clothes onto her back ( along with her back tattoo) I don't like the look even in the clubs but damn, does she not understand the criteria of dress codes? There are 4 codes and the last one we do not have!

Ladies, what is happening to you? I am not poking fun at women with extra push because I have a little extra. I just don't understand what goes thru womens minds when they put on a top screaming toooooo little or tooooooo tight and it does nothing for their figure, but it does tell others that they did not give a damn what they put on when they walked outside. If you try on a blouse and that top is riding high on one of your rolls then take it off!! I myself can speak on this subject, I am not a size 2, I am a "thickems" built very nice and curvvy but I no what I can or cannot wear without embarrassing my mother!

I know this is a fad, but WTF? These thoughts occur in my mind everytime I see it and yes, I am laughing when I see it. Who is responsible for this? What guy woke up to say "hey, how about we wear some tight, tapered at the ankle pants and look like a lady " Where did this crazy fad come from? Are there others out there who are as nausiated as I am when I see this gross part of fashion? Oh, lets not forget the run over, flat bottomed all stars that they like to wear with the jeans and the long bangs in the face as if they were the female in the relationship. I can't elp but to think of Kermit the frog when I see these guys.

I like to use that term lightly between friends of course as just a figure of speech but I have more fun in terms of referring to people who have no goals or ambitions in life as a "Loser"

I have a boss who has sent questionable "racey" emails in the past. ex.....

She sent an email that is referencing why "african american mexican, jewish, asian and other minorities have support groups, ex NAACP. Some of you have probably seen the email, I think it is titled "YOU ARE CALLING ME A RACIST? The whole email compares these groups and how minorities would feel if there were "white groups and such" and how would we feel. The point is, it does not matter on how she feels about the groups and their support system, what DOES BOTHER me is she is a "manager" (not a co-worker on the same level) who sent this to our dept as if it was appropriate, I voiced my feelings already to her and she apologized, then turned around a week or so later and sent ANOTHER questionable email, she does not get it! This is discrimination and we do work for a well known nationwide company. What is your input on this? I start boiling everytime I think about it!

I seen a special last week on Vh1 or Mtv on the 25 best dancers in history. They had nerve to rank Ciara in like #25 and Beyonce was ranked before her! What? Does anyone know talent when they see one? Don't get me wrong, I did not say Beyonce' could not dance, I said she CANNOT dance better that Ciara. Ciara is a natural and has had it in her blood her whole life, she did not have to be taight. Beyonce' has to practice her steps and be choreographed much harder than Ciara. It is not natural to Beyonce' .

I have gone through Arizona questions and a few times I have seen people answer questions and then end it with a comment of ............... "REMEMBER THIS IS ARIZONA NOT ILLINOIS"?

When people tell you if you can live in New York or Chicago then you can live anywhere then they mean JUST THAT!!

I have been to Arizona and reside in Chicago and I feel that a person from Chicago should be making a statement similiar to above. There are big differences, Chicago never sleeps, Where as Arizona does. Again, I am just curious about the comments, no direspect or to be misunderstood.

I appreciate everyone taking the time to answer my questions on Phoenix, relocating is a big step for me this fall. The good thing about being expendible with work skills is if it doesn't work out then you can always move elsewehere and find work.

I was told that the closer you live in the metro area, the less you have to worry about scorpions due to buldings and traffic. They apparently like the outdoors and land with mulch, trees, grass and such. Is this the case?
