  • How can I determine why my mail filter is not filtering?

I have created a filter that is intended to look for a particular word anywhere in the subject, and if found, should put the mail into a particular folder, and no where else..

I am finding the mail message in other boxes.

I have looked, and it does NOT appear that the messages are being placed in two folders. Instead, it appears to me that my filters - which are at the top of my filter list - are not being used.

I have less than 50 filters, so it is not a matter of being over a limit as far as I can tell. The filter is at the top of the list, so it isn't a matter of other filters taking effect.

Is there any way for me to get yahoo mail to show me why my mail is going into the box it is going?

    Thanks!

  • How to I see what wonder cards I have in my Nintendo DS Pokemon Pearl game?

Nintendo is holding a special event this weekend at US Toys 'R Us stores, giving away a Dragonite (not that it is that big a deal, but hey, it is a freebie, and another user id for the game). See http://www.pokemon.com/ for details.

There was a mention in the requirements portion of the announcement that one should not have more than two "wonder cards". I've noticed at least one useful answer on yahoo answers that explained that the wonder card is something that comes when you get a pokemon at one of these types of events, and that the cards are not necessary to keep and should be deleted.

What are the cards for? And how do I see them and delete them?

  • What considerations do parents need to make when having a college student, with regards to support and taxes?

I have a son who will be entering college next fall. He has a series of grants and scholarships that will cover a portion of the cost. He is looking for a job for the summer to help with another portion. However, my wife and I are still expected to obtain enough money to pay nearly half of the cost.

Right now, that amount is more than we have available in our budget. However, a future portion of an inheritance from my mother has been offered to my son, to cover the majority of the remaining cost.

What I don't know is what considerations need to be made with regards to all of this, with regards to taxes, etc. Does this mean, because of the scholarships, etc. that since I'm not providing 50% of his support, he is no longer eligible to be considered for taxes? I will be providing insurance coverage, some money, etc.

  • Another Azelf question from Diamond?

I've read a number of the postings about Azelf. Here's my problem.

So far, I've tried 6 times to catch Azelf. I get it down into the red. I give it paralasis. I lower it's attack stat to its lowest level. I lower its accuracy to its lowest level. I throw timer and dusk balls - literally dozens.

What ends up happening is that it eventually runs out of attack PPs and uses struggle, which knocks it out.

    What else can I do?

When I display the town map, in various towns on the map there are blinking red dots. I have no idea what those dots represent. Can anyone explain it?

  • What factors need to be considered in charging a Nintendo DS? Pokemon Diamond seems to drain it fast!?

I don't know whether it is the fact that the game uses both screens that makes the battery life so short, or whether I need to be smarter about when I charge it. Should the DS be charged daily, only when its charge light turns red, or only when the battery goes dead? And if my battery is dying, how do I replace it?
