My co-worker and I are Captains for a Relay for Life team and the theme this year is Celebrating Birthdays. We are a younger group looking for a fun spunky name. We will also be decorating our tent around our theme, and of course we want to be able to take home all the prizes for best campsite, etc. So the team name has to be incorporated into our campsite as well.

Anyone have any ideas??? We have thought of something along the lines of "The Party Pirates", or "The Cupcakes" (however, there will most likely be men on our team as well, so we feel that may not be very fitting.

Please help!!

A few months back my fiance and I bought a car from my brother. My fiance was going to go down to get it registered in his name, however, we found out that it had to be registered in both of our names for the insurance to cover it. We had a hard time getting to the sec of state together, but figured we would be fine since the car was insured, but still registered by my brother. WRONG! My fiance got pulled over! Unbeknown to us, my brother had taken the registered plate off, and put on a bad plate!! Now we have over $500 in fines! Luckily the cop didn't impound the car, and I called in sick to work the following monday so we could go get it registered. Should we try and fight the ticket? I don't want to make any more of a mess of this than it already is, but it really wasn't on purpose and $500 is a lot of money!! HELP!

I am buying a house and had to sell my car to get the home loan. I "sold" the car to my boyfriends sister, however will be buying it back from her, once I close on the house. My insurance agent told me that instead of getting his sister a policy, she could just list his sister as the title holder. Can we go to the sec of state and just have the title listed in her name, and keep everything else in my name? I would assume that if we only had the title transferred then we wouldn't have to pay taxes for selling the car?

Does anyone know anything about this? And how I can get around having to completely transfer the car out of my name?

My boyfriend never submitted his 2006 taxes, so last year in the beginning of 2007 we submitted them, hoping for the best, however we never received anything, and the refund was supposed to be around $1000. Just recently he received a state refund check of $21.00 from Mi for the 2006 tax year, which makes me think that the IRS actually did get his tax info, but I have no idea how to track it down to see if they actually did.

Does anyone know how to find this, and if I can do it online, or if he has to call the IRS and try to track it through them.

We are having a promotion at work that is dealing with investments. The theme for the promotion is "do you have your ducks in a row?". I am trying to come up with a t-shirt design that has ducks on it and some kind of catchy slogan. I would like to just have something on the front left chest side of the shirt, and then have something bigger on the back of it. It somehow needs to coincide with the duck theme, and still be catchy.

Our corporation holds an annual event, and each individual branch has to come up with a theme depending on the actual theme of the event. We chose Caddyshack this year, being the theme is Academy Award Winning Movies. Caddyshack is not an a winner of the Academy Awards as far as I am aware, but we are able to do it anyway and thought it would be something out of the ordinary. So we are to dress as if we were the characters in the movie, and play along throughout the evening. That in itself is no issue, but whichever branch has the best theme wins, and in a corporation, well this is our PRIDE!! So I was looking to see if anyone had any other extravagent ideas that might help us win? We don't have a lot of money to spend, but Goodwill is a good candidate for this, as well as I am sure my boss still has lots of good ole plaid in his closet! Anything other ideas would be appreciated! Thanks!
