Now, on to the question.

I should note that I'm 19 and in college.

I've only dated 2 people in my life, and both were serious relationships.

But now that I'm in college, I've found it hard to approach anyone like I could back in high school. I should also note that I've never had any success in asking a girl out on a "date" or anything as friends. I've tried at least 10 times, and they either "have boyfriends" or "aren't interested" or are "busy".

I often feel like I'm unapproachable, even though I'm very warm and caring about anyone I talk to. I've also tried online dating, with some success as of late.

I'm at the point where I'd like to start dating women that are a little older than me (2-8 years) because I feel safer and more secure around them, but also because they're more mature and can connect with me better than younger women who are still in high school, and are (usually) immature. But I'm not averse to dating someone who is younger, either.

So, my question to you is, how should I go about being more approachable to girls? I don't feel like I am most of the time.

Keep in mind, I usually wear a band tshirt and tight (but not skintight) pants and a pair of Converse shoes. I usually look like a typical skater kid, and I'm often aloof, but attentive.

I just want to be more approachable is all I ask.

I know most of my friends who are Christians say they're waiting until marriage for sex. And that's fine. But the question I have is, shouldn't you find out if you're compatible for sex between you and someone you deeply care about? I would think that it would be trouble if you found out your wife couldn't have sex or something like that.

I've been dating this girl Nicole for 7 months now. I love her, and would do most anything for her, but the problem is, I don't find her attractive anymore. And I haven't really been feeling great lately, because I know she's going to feel really bad if I break up with her. But at the same time, I don't want to leave her with a false reality that I'm still IN love with her, because she thinks I am. What a quandary I'm now a part of. We don't fight or anything, but I'm seeing her as more of a friend now.

Her idea of being "horny" is making out with me. And while that's fine. and I don't make "getting some" my priority, it would be nice is she was more sexy, like how she dresses and such. We also don't have much to talk about anymore. We have different interests, too. She doesn't know jack about sports or video games, and I couldn't care less about dance or theater.

I'm currently trying to find some friends that are girls to hang out with, too. I'm not looking to get a quick lay, or ditch Nicole to find someone else. I'm just looking for answers. What should I do?
