  • How is PTS determined in college basketball rankings?

On the ESPN app, it has the top 25 rankings, and next to each teams name there is a column called PTS. I know it stands for points, but it can t be the number of points each team has scored because it clearly doesn t add up. What does it mean and how is it determined? I ve done research but can t find anything.

  • The Catcher in th Rye questions?

    1. What does Holden’s character (personality, struggles, worldview etc.) inform us about American life in the late 1940s?

    2. Why does Salinger make Holden so unreliable? Where do we see his unreliability?

    3. Is Holden’s perspective still relevant to today’s world? If so, what connections can be made? If not, what specifically feels outdated?

  • Are my favorite teams ridiculous?

I am a die hard sports fan. I am very passionate about each one of my teams. 100x more passionate than any of my friends or people I know. So much more that they literally think I'm crazy, but they say I'm a fair weather fan bc all my teams are good. Tell me if this is okay. My favorite teams are:

    College- Nebraska

    NFL- Patriots

    NBA- Celtics

    MLB- Red Sox and Royals

    My explanation:

My dad went to school at Nebraska and played basketball there. It is my whole extended families college team as well, and hopefully my alma mater. I was born in Boston and lived the first years of my life there. Being as passionate about the great city of Boston alone, mixing sports with that gets crazy. I am a die hard Boston sports fan. This are my teams, and I will always be loyal to them. I moved to Kansas City when I was pretty little, and over the years, I became a Royals fan. Long before they were any good, I was a big fan. They used to be so bad! I have never been a chiefs fan! Never will. Not because they're bad. If they won the Super Bowl 4 years straight, I would still hate them. Do not say I like any of these teams because they are good, bc they have all had their high points, and their low points (except the patriots, but their time will come). A lot of my friends are not okay with this, mainly bc of jealousy, but they still are not okay with this. Do you think it's okay? Idk why it wouldn't be. Idk why I'm asking you bc I know it's okay, I just wanna hear ur opinion.

  • Updated Top 5 Qbs of all time?

    1. Tom Brady- 4 of 6 SBs. 3x SB MVP, holding every important SB and playoff record. Best win loss record/percentage of any QB ever. He also has won with tons of different teams and not a whole lot around him.

    2. Joe Montana- 4 of 4 SBs. The 4 of 4 Super Bowls are impressive, but he also had great surrounding players. Both him, brady, and Bradshaw have 4 SBs, but Brady has been to 2 more.

    3. Johnny Unitas- the King, the perfect passer. Won championships and held a lot of records for many years. Was the leader of his team for his career.

    4. John Elway- was great his entire career. Performed in clutch situations. 2 SBs, and one of the biggest playmakers the game has ever seen. Not a whole lot around him.

    5. Rodger Staubach- great QB who left the NFL, came back and was great again! Won Super Bowls. 2 or 3 I think, and really cemented the cowboys legacy.

  • What's wrong with my vine?

Every time I get I vine to watch some funny vines on the home page, I try to scroll down but the app just closes right away. It lets me watch the first vine on there and the second vine, but if I try to scroll down past that, the app closes and my iPhone takes me back to my home screen. Also, when I am on the home screen and I press on "profile", the same thing happens. When I press "explore" "activity" or the camera to record a vine, it works. It's just the scrolling on the home screen and my profile. It's not my iPhone bc everything else on my phone works fine. What's wrong with it?

  • What is this movie?

It's a baseball movie about a dad I think? He is seen pitching on a field and scouts see him or something, and he has a big fast ball, and they clock him and he's pitching 99-100 mph balls, and he's surprised about that after the scouts confront him, and he goes on to pitch in the mlb for the mariners, maybe other teams too but I'm 99% positive the mariners are one of the teams
