  • Has anyone heard of this new scam?

    Some idiots have a scam out now claiming that they are in 82nd Airborne and need large amounts of money to be able to go on emergency leave. This has been changed to show different units etc. Just a heads up for folks out there who support us. Please don't fall for this.

  • How can marines still use the old we get less money and used stuff excuse ?

    You have a better personal kit than me and my soldiers get. The same weapons and optics. Better shotguns. The same MRAPS and vehicles we have. We share the same air support. You go to safer areas in country for less time so your gear gets used and abused less. You jump the same chutes for the whole 1% of you that aren't legs. It's obvious the rest of us aren't using the same stuff as there's an EGA on almost everything marine.Your branch fields and gets things to the battle field pretty fast. So how can you guys brag your tough and do more with less?
