A Dame is the female equivalent of a Knighthood I always thought, this Dame played by a man and a principle boy a Girl most confusing but why does anyone know ?

My Uncle owned a Ford popular this had windscreen wipers which worked off the air presure, it slowed down going up hills and went like the clappers going down.

I owned a old Morris Minor which had semaphor side indicators, this was amusing to say the least. Sometimes they stayed perminently up and lit, other times they got half way and got stuck, and one time a bird landed on the top and snapped it off. I found it anoying as you had to do hand signals in either pouring rain or let freezing cold air into the car.

Did you have or know of any classic cars with peculiar and odd things, and were there any other makes which were funny to drive ?
