  • Could I still be pregnant?

I've been to my doctor twice because I haven't had my period in 6 or7 months. I was convinced I might be pregnant. I was surprized after a urine and a blood test that said I wasn't pregnant. I feel like I'm 5 or 6 months pregnant compared to when I was pregnant with my 2 year old. I've gained some weight around the middle and I can't sleep on my stomach anymore like I use to. I don't know maybe i have an Ovarian Cyst. I was just wondering if it was possible I might still be pregnant.... I'm thinking about scheduling an ultrasound but don't want to spend the money if there isn't a possibility I might be pregnant.....

  • Something strange going on with my period?

I was wondering if anyone has had this problem. I haven't had my period in 6 months. I went to my doctor and they did a thyroid test which came out normal. I went back a couple weeks later and got a Pap test that also came out normal. Both times I talked to the doctor and they really didn't seem that concerned that i wasn't getting my period. I also had a urine and blood pregnancy test. I'm running out and money for all this and I still have no idea what is wrong. I'm overweight which could also be a factor. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas or if you have experienced the same thing??

  • Avoid the April Fools virus?

I've decided to just not get on my internet tomorrow and keep my eye on the news to see if there is anything I can do to not get the visus. Since they don't know how it works or anything about it (it seems) I feel safer just waiting. I've scanned my computer and made sure everything is working with my virus protection. Is not getting on the internet tomorrow a good idea?

  • Should I move to this area?

I currently live in a city. It's actually the capitol of my state. I enjoy it here mostly because I have lots of friends. My fiance was offered a job close to my parents. They live out in the middle of nowhere. I grew up there and I love being there. I'm torn between my family and my friends. The pay is about the same but it's going ot be a lot cheaper living my my family.

  • I'm looking for some advice about birth?

I'm a new doula. I've done 2 beautiful natural birth but I'm still terrified I'm going to do something wrong. . I would really love some tips from women that have had babies on what they would want in a doula and any things you have learned about your own births or births of friends that you think I need to here. I always act like I know what I'm doing but I'm still having some doubts. My first 2 clients seemed very happy with me.

  • Help! My checking account is a mess?

Direct TV took 700 dollars out of our account because we were having trouble paying the bills. They told us twice that they are going to give the money back and haven't. Our account has so many fees tacked onto it now because checks bounced and every day it goes farther in the whole. I'm afraid I'm going to get into legal trouble. We are filing a complaint but I'm confused about it and no one well help me. We are not using the account anymore. They won't just shut down the account because it's negative. I just know it goes farther in the whole every day. What else can I do? We aren't letting checks go into the account anymore because they would just be eaten up and then we couldn't pay any of our bills. We have to pay rent, insurance, groceries...... diapers.

Is there any good medical sites I can check out to find the benefits and risks of this procedure?

  • My daughter won't stop biting and pinching?

I'm having a major problem with my 20 month old biting and pinching me. She gets a kick out of it. It makes me really mad but I don't know what to do. I will not spank her. I don't want to start time outs until she is at least 2 and can understand why she is getting the time out. So I feel like my hands are tied. Most of the time I just have to leave the room when she starts to behave like that because it makes me so mad I don't want to do or say something I would regret. I've told her no and shown her the nice touches. She is really sweet most of the time and has never biten or pinched anyone else. I'm open to any idea?

  • I'm having a lot of trouble with my weight?

I use to work out a lot and I had a pretty healthy diet. Now I have a toddler and a fiance in my life. After I got pregnant I gained quite a bit of weight (felt that was normal). I'm having a terrible time losing it. In fact I've gained 70 lbs since my prepregnancy weight. It's depressing standing infront of the mirror. I'm having a lot of relationship problems and I think i'm self medicating with food. Any tips on changing my mindset? I'm overwhelmed and wondering if there is a good way to start. Any good websites I can visit to give me ideas and keep me on track? Thank you for any information.

  • Would you take your 20 month old to volunteer at a nursing home?

I've volunteered at a nursing home and while back and I reall enjoyed it and the people really seemed to appreciate the company. I now have a 20 month old daughter and I would really like to get her involved with me in some volunteering. She's a sweet beautiful little thing who loves everyone and I think she would brighten a lot of lives. The one and only thing I'm slightly worried about is being around the germs. Would you think she would be exposed to at lot more illnesses at the nursing home?. As a mother would you attempt this with your daughter?

  • How do you cure baby fever?

I want a baby so bad but I know at this point in my life it's just not something I could handle. I have a 19 month old now and my fiance really wants another one but she just keeps me so busy I don't know if I could handle another one. All my friends are getting pregnant again and I'm going to be a doula at 2 births. All the pregnancy books are getting to my head. Any tips?

  • Does this sound like a good superbowl party?

My fiance and I are going to eat apple pie and pigs in a blanket (hotdogs wrapped in homemade bread, the pie is also homemade). Hopefully have some good conversations and cheering for the Steelers. My Daughter will probably be playing with her toys. Asking for things and crawling on and off of our laps :). Simple yet I feel like it's going to be fun.

  • What are my hands so dry and how can I get them feeling soft again?

I've been washing a lot of dishes. I live in nebraska and it's been very cold and dry lately. My hands are so dry now. I keep layering on lotion but it doesn't seem like it's helping. On the top of my right hand around my knuckles is the worst.
