I know ETF's are better suited but it's for my 401k, but let's assume it's my only choice and that my holding periods will be 1 to 2 months at the lowest. I also realize that I could read a prospectus, but there are over 10,000 funds so that would be inefficient.

I am not referring to the treatment of the primary cancer, e.g. let's say the cancer has spread to the bone and hypothetically speaking, I only care about removing the bone cancer. Is that treatment of the bone cancer different if it originated from different places? I understand that different cancers spread to different places, but I'm only concerned about removing , in this example, bone cancer that originated from some place else.

Ok I get that it's the euclidean distance of "something" but I don't know what that something is. Could use say that it's the x[i-k]...x[i-1] column minus the x[n-k]...x[n-1] column?

I have taken adderall or ritalin for 7 years now and my new shrink took me off because he didn't believe I have ADHD. Now that school is back in session, I have no motivation to study. I have a new doctor (it's a long story) and I think he's going to test me today. In any case, I hate the fact that I have no motivation to do much of anything.

My girlfriend dumped me after 4 years. Her reasoning was that our relationship wasn't moving forward (she got her masters and had to move away and I was getting my prereq's for a masters programs that I'm still not sure if I want to do), my moods were too volatile and she didn't like living with me. While she was looking for a job and was under lots of stress and I was stressing about having to get all A's in college inorder to get into my desired grad school, we would get into fights, but then we would talk about them and everything would be fine. I think she lost attraction in me when I became depressed after quitting my first real job and then not making the grades needed to get into a grad school. Right now I miss her and I thought it would be a good idea for us to take some time apart, but she wanted to break up. I know that I will be that man she used to love in 6 months, but I don't know if I can handle her dating other guys right now.
