3 AnswersParenting1 decade agowhat are the new child benefit changes for twins in April 2010?
So Parents of twins are getting their child benefit increased as well as one off payments when they reach 4 and 12 years.
Does anyone know anything more?
I have a 13 year old and 9 year old twins the twins get the lower rate of CB yet costs more to clothe them
One baby is expensive enough but have twins and it costs a fortune
1 AnswerOther - Pregnancy & Parenting1 decade agopet rabbit killed dog or fox?
A woman knocked on my door to ask if i had a German Shepherd dog? yes i said, was he out yesterday at 7am (very dark morning) no i said i was late up. So she said her rabbit had been killed by a GSD and was checking. Now unless my dog had a Key to get outside then scaled 4 x 5 foot fences 1x 6ft fence and several smaller fences then came back and locked himself in.
The rabbit was taken out the hutch and ripped to pieces, about 2 weeks ago we spotted a fox in the street as we were driving, stopped the car to show the kids, i am sure it must have been a fox TBH.
The fox was a big one and at first we thought it was a dog it went into the gardens 3 doors from where this woman lives.
should i warn the woman in case she gets another rabbit and puts it in same cage ? the fox could be back

3 AnswersPrinters1 decade agowhen sending emails how do you KNOW they were received?
I had to send 3 emails to the same person.
This person is now being difficult and saying she never got the emails, e'er all 3 on separate days.
The email address was correct, usually if there is any problem with an email it bounces back, none of the 3 sent did.
Supposing she had changed email address without saying, the 3 emails i sent would have been returned to me yes????
OR would the emails have been diverted to new email account
any ideas please

4 AnswersOther - Yahoo Mail1 decade agosex offenders and child safety info please?
A friend of my son who is 22 was placed on the sex offender's register.
His girlfriend was 15 (TBH looked about 19-20 years old, anyway they had sex which led to court etc etc.and he was placed on the sex offenders register.
Now as i have an 8 year old daughter, i won't have him in the house my son thinks i am being unfair, but i have the safety of my daughter as my main priority.
I told my son i would get into trouble with social services if he came into my home. As we are a stable family i have not had any dealings with social services, but my friend works for them.
So i am right in refusing to allow this boy into my home
any help appreciated my son thinks i am being unfair.

8 AnswersPhotography1 decade ago£50 litter dropping offence yes that's right?
Today i went shopping, not to the usual shopping centre. hubby and i went outside for a cigarette (trying to stop) looked all over for a bin when we had finished. My usual shopping centre you cannot have bins inside or outside and the train station too because of bombs (security guard told me) you have to use the floor and they sweep up. Presumed it was the same here so put my cigarette out on the floor.
we were acosted by 2 men inside the shopping centre, didn't have a clue who they were asking us to go back outside they had id but was swinging so much on the lanyard couldn't read it.
Yep you guessed it fined £50 each, explained about bins where i usually shop they pointed out the cigarette bin took me a full minute, it was up a dingy alleyway. Anyway the date on my penalty notice was 14-01-2008 LOL wasn't there then rang the hotline explained and i have sent my appeal in, i normaly only smoke where there are seats and bins, so be warned everyone, even children aged 10 or over can be fined for litter and you have to pay it. So do you think i will have to pay with the date being wrong??? 2008
