You are no match for my power

My mom pumped me full of prescription medications when i was a kid. Adderall, some kind of sleep drug to counteract the adderall, acne medication, and two prescription antihistamines for mild seasonal allergies which i had to take year round for idk why. I gave up on that when i was maybe 13 or 14 (ten years ago) I was a honors student with no medical issues, didn't need the drugs. The only prescription i have had in my adult life was an antibiotic for work related pneumonia/bronchitis/sinus infection. I'm looking at enlisting as combat engineer. I've talked with three people about MEPS and got not quite enough information. My best friend an infantryman who enlisted two years ago insists on not saying a thing, look spotless, they're downsizing. My cousin, a cavalry scout, enlisted 7 years ago with a similar history of behavioral medication. My other cousin was a marine infantryman and a recruiter for 3 years, says during his time (90s) it wasn't an issue, but he's not up to date with current meps procedure. Does anyone have any current information?

A friend at work found out I built my own ar-15 and i'm wondering what I could put together for him. he's interested in a long range plinker, not necessarily a match grade gun. what would you consider ideal for long range recreational shooting or coyote hunting?

my barrel nut is torqued down properly, the hole is free of any obstructions bolt closes fine without the gas tube, gas tube go in all the way without the bolt. when i try to close the bolt it stops well short or jams onto the gas tube so that i have to pull it back with some force, still stoping well short. is this something i can try to fix with a new gas tube?

i've replaced the spring with a factory new one, stripped everything down, and cleaned it thoroughly. stil engaging for no reason. any suggestions?

I'm putting together my first build and have everything but the barrel. I want a 16 inch m4 contour carbine gas system barrel chrome lined bore and chamber with a 1 in 9 twist. I'm one a moderate budget, and hammer forging is a slight plus.

for securing flash hiders and compensators. do they deform too much after they're used once?

i'm halfway through my first build (complete lower) and i'm pretty set on a midwest industries billet upper because they're local, in stock, and i'm also going with an MI rail. However it's thicker than normal uppers and the brownells clam shell vise block also warns not use on billet uppers. how would i go about securing the receiver when i put my barrel on?

i've got a little compact 10/22 that i grew out of and the budget for a grown-up hogue stock, but don't really want to by a new barrel. is the difference between compact and standard 10/22 barrels enough affect stock fit?

i got a friend that thinks 30-30 isn't powerful enough for whitetail because most people he knows use a 30-06. i think 30-06 is on the upper end end of appropriate and 30-30 can definitely get the job done.
