  • How do I report a car I though was stolen found?

    I though my car was stolen a while back, but it turns out someone I know was took it. The car was gone for several months, but now I know where it is. I do not want this person to get in trouble with the law because we have sorted out the issue on our own. Can I just tell the police I know where the car is and I do not want to press charges? What kind of information will they require?
