Will your mama vote for Obama because he killed Osama in his pajamas?
Oh, can you say, that the U.S. of A will be OK?
Will you pretend to be gay, and crack jokes like Tina Fey?
While our national debt eats away
at our future every day
until China comes and takes away
our freedoms and our country one day?
And then what will you say,
to your grandkids, Mr. K
‘cause they can’t get no job, because our debt grew like “The Blob”
and ate our economy away?

5 AnswersGender Studies9 years agoAn 18 year old boy is dismissed from his team for kissing his 65 year old boyfriend, and he wonders why?
Had an 18 year old GIRL been making out with this 65 year old MAN, do you think that anyone would have questioned the coach’s decision?:
3 AnswersGender Studies9 years agoIs this how heterosexual women see men?
Excerpt from an e-mail from a friend of mine:
1. The nice men are ugly.
2. The handsome men are not nice.
3. The handsome and nice men are gay.
4. The handsome, nice and heterosexual men are married.
5. The men who are not so handsome, but are nice men, have no money.
6. The men who are not so handsome, but are nice men with money think we are only after their money.
7. The handsome men without money are after our money.
8. The handsome men, who are not so nice and somewhat heterosexual don't think we are beautiful enough.
9. The men who think we are beautiful, that are heterosexual, somewhat nice and have money, are cowards.
10. The men who are somewhat handsome, somewhat nice and have some money and thank God are heterosexual, are shy and NEVER MAKE THE FIRST MOVE!
11. The men who never make the first move, automatically lose interest in us when we take the initiative.
4 AnswersGender Studies9 years agoWhat do you think that she meant?
My wife left a note on the fridge ...
“It’s not working, I can’t take it anymore! Gone to stay at my parents."
I opened the fridge, the light came on and the beer was cold.
Not sure what she was talking about!
7 AnswersGender Studies9 years agoIsn’t it odd that the top 3 books on the NYT bestseller list are about a bad boy subjugating a woman?
Obviously it is true that the majority of women fantasize about being abused by a troubled “bad boy”:
1. FIFTY SHADES OF GREY, by E. L. James. (Knopf Doubleday Publishing.) An inexperienced college student falls in love with a tortured man who has particular sexual tastes; the first book in a trilogy.
2. FIFTY SHADES DARKER, by E. L. James. (Knopf Doubleday Publishing.) Ana Steele learns more about Christian Grey’s troubled past; the second book in a trilogy.
3. FIFTY SHADES FREED, by E. L. James. (Knopf Doubleday Publishing.) The final book in an erotic trilogy.
The complete fiction list:

And are you wearing the ruby slippers?
(They were supposed to be silver, according to the book, but red showed up better on film.)
8 AnswersGender Studies9 years agoGood people of GS, why the endless gender wars? Where is the "tenderness"?
Seems like without tenderness there's something missing
I don't know where I am but I know I don't like it
Open my mouth and out pops something spiteful
Words are so cheap, but they can turn out expensive
Words like conviction can turn into a sentence
6 AnswersGender Studies9 years agoAny thoughts on Christina Sommers comments about Gender Studies in college?
"The orthodox feminists are so carried away with victimology, with a rhetoric of male-bashing that it’s full of female chauvinists, if you will. Also, women are quite eager to censor, to silence. And what concerns me most as a philosopher is it’s become very anti-intellectual, and I think it poses a serious risk to young women in the universities. Women’s studies classes are increasingly a kind of initiation into the most radical wing, the most intolerant wing, of the feminist movement."

3 AnswersGender Studies9 years agoHave you ever wondered why some people post questions asking if it is OK if they hate everyone?
Or if it is OK if they hate the opposite gender, some other race, etc.?
If they really hate everyone, then why do they care if any of us think that it is OK? Our opinions should be meaningless to a person who hates us, right?
4 AnswersGender Studies9 years agoMen write love songs for women, but why don't women write songs for men?
This is the closest that I could find, and the lyrics were probably written by men:

Do women think that they don't have to court us? But they demand that we be all romantic for them? Come on, ladies!
17 AnswersGender Studies9 years agoIs my proof correct? Can you find any error?
I cannot find anything wrong with it:
Every male accepts the postulate that that the following equation is true:
(1) Women = time X money
Since,
(2) Money = Time,
we can substitute equation 2 this into the first equation, above, and get:
(3) Women = money squared
But, as everyone knows, money is the root of all evil, so taking the square root of money squared, we get,
Women = evil.
Hum.

3 AnswersGender Studies9 years agoWhy do old people like to say, "back in MY day"?

17 AnswersSenior Citizens9 years agoIs this how most women think?
That the opinions of "average people" are insignificant and meaningless?
“It's a little like when a very average guy calls you good looking. Who cares? What makes you idiots think we care what you want, what you think or what your opinions are? The reason you think it's a big deal to be called 'hot' is because you're obviously not.”

11 AnswersGender Studies9 years agoWhy don’t women understand why men hate “gold diggers”?
After reading the responses of many of the regulars on GS, I get the impression that most of you have no idea what that term actually means to men.
When a guy makes crude sexual remarks to you, or tells you that you are “hot”, you get offended. Think for a moment about why that is.
Men don't like being objectified either, especially if the quality that you are being judged for is something that could be easily lost, like looks, or financial stability. Men want to believe that you like him because he is cool, not because he drives a Corvette or because he can afford Italian suits.
Why do I get the impression that most women are clues-less about this?
23 AnswersGender Studies9 years agoDid Miller Lite invent the "Punch Top Can" so that college kids could shotgun beers easier?
It's not like an adults who can afford better will drink that pig p*$$ anyway.
I originally posted this in "Beer, Wine & Spirits", but the people there are apparently too wasted to give any coherent answers. The people here seem more lively. Incidentally, Y!A suggested that this question should be posted under "Pets: Fish". As in, drink like one? Hum....
