  • Help with bad razor burn on legs?

So, I shave just about every day, and I love having smooth, hairless legs. However, I ALWAYS get razor burn all over my legs. I have tried absolutely everything...shaving cream, oils, lotion, hot water, etc. and it's improved, but I still get bad razor burn. I've used the cheap blue Gillette disposable razors forever, and recently switched to using the Venus Spa Breeze razor. It helped, but I'm still not "cured". I was just wondering if you could recommend some cheap/homemade, simple tips that might help, or a different razor blade...preferably Venus. I've actually heard a lot of negative reviews about the Venus Spa Breeze, and a few of their different razors have been recommended to me. I appreciate all of your help!

  • Recipe ideas for a 4th of July camping trip?

Hi guys! My family is going camping up in Door County, Wisconsin from Wednesday (the Fourth) until the following Sunday. I was just wondering if you guys had any fun family recipes that would be good to snack on around the campfire. I was thinking of something fairly simple to make, preferably something along the lines of brownies. Any delicious recipes or twists to put on a typical brownie recipe would be appreciated!

  • Uncontrollable, frizzy hair tips?

So, I really don't care that much about how I look. As long as I'm presentable, my clothes match and I don't look like a total dork, I'm fine. I'm a teenager, and I've never worn make-up in public, and I dedicate about 4 minutes a day on my hair. But lately, my hair has gone overboard with the frizz.

My hair comes a little bit past my collarbones, and it's a gorgeous golden color. The positives end there. There is SO much of it, and it isn't sure if it wants to be curly or wavy. Because it's right in between, when I brush it (it looks awful if I don't), it just...puffs out. We had a foreign exchange student that likened my hair to a bush. But I don't have the time or resources to spend hours making my hair look perfect, and frankly, if that's what it takes, I'll just have frizzy hair. I dunno if this makes a difference, but if I wear it in a braid or something for half the day, it will stay un-frizzy for the next couple hours. I've started braiding it everyday, but don't have time to redo it when it starts falling down. The non-frizzy-ness lasts for only an hour or two, though.

I guess that I'm asking for some simple, cheap products that will control my hair. My preference would be just shampoo and conditioner, but if I have to put some product in after I shower or something, I will. I'm not going to load my hair with a bunch of chemicals, though, and I won't spend more than like 8 minutes on it. I need cheaper products that I can get at Walgreens or something like that - no salon products that cost a fortune. I would love it if I could just shampoo and condition it, and then just brush it out. I will not blow-dry or straighten my hair at all. I know that this isn't much to work with, but again, if it takes more work than I'm willing to put into it, then my hair will just suffer. I just can't spend forever on my hair, and I'm not a prissy girly-girl that is constantly touching my hair, redoing it, making it look all perfect and fancy all the time. My hair gets brushed in the morning, sometimes braided, and that's all. I'm not going to start spending a ton of money and waking up really early just for my hair to look perfect.

    Thanks for you help!

  • Is 17.2hh too big to be a jumper?

We are looking at a horse named O'Neill that is the love of my life. He's 17.2 and a potential jumper - he's young right now, but will probably jump at least 5'6''. My somewhat clueless dad asked a coworker about how big a jumper should be, and the lady told him that 17.2 is way too big. However, my trainer's neice has an 18 hand warmblood that does the jumpers at AA shows and wins everything. He's a valuable horse, and yet my dad is still in doubt. So, I need to hear it from you. Is 17.2 too big to be a jumper, even if the horse is extremely athletic and powerful?
