Platform bed versus mattress and box spring?
Have always had a mattress and box spring, but have recently been looking into a platform bed. Any opinions as to which one is better or offers more back support?
Any advice is welcome...
3 AnswersDecorating & Remodeling9 years agoDigital Camera Virgin...What to do?
I'm looking for my first digital camera, something small I can carry around in my pocket on holiday, but still good quality with a decent zoom. Nothing super complicated.
Names and model numbers would be helpful so I can research further.
Any advice??
1 AnswerCameras10 years agoConsidering a new tattoo...?
Thinking about getting the Toronto skyline in a silhouette or outline. Not sure whether to wrap it(wrist, leg or arm) or lay it out flat(inside of arm). Would also like to add a shot of colour or a little detail somewhere on it. Ideas or suggestions??
4 AnswersTattoos1 decade agoCustomer service...out the window?
OK, a little background--as I was checking out at the Sobeys grocery store the other night, all my checkout guy seemed to be interested in was having a conversation with an off duty employee who was behind me in line. His conversation started; his hands virtually stopped. After a few minutes of this I had a couple of words with the off duty employee, told the checkout guy to get moving and began to bag the groceries myself(he had had a problem with the customers in front of me and I'd been waiting long enough). As I'm loading my cart with bags, another cashier--supervisor I think--walks past the line of checkout counters dropping f-bombs left and right! I think I couldn't believe it. Then, as I'm exiting the store, she is standing outside the doors with other employees having her smoke break and cursing up a storm as customers are entering and exiting. Now, let me preface my query by saying that I have no real issue with social conversation or expletives having partaken in both on many many occasions, but while on duty at your job seems inappropriate and excessive. Now, on to my question: Is it just me, or does it seem that people just don't care about professionalism in the workplace anymore? Or are they unaware that other people in the general vicinity can hear them? Has customer service gone out the window?

I'm currently reading Last Night In Twisted River by John Irving, currently re-reading Kitchen Confidential by Anthony Bourdain and currently waiting to start Juliet Naked by Nick Hornby.
Anybody have any suggestions for books in the same vein?

I'm looking for one of those portable water bottles that you can invert and the dog can lick the roller ball and release the water. I had one once, but am unable to find another.
In Toronto, Canada if possible.
Please Help!!!
1 AnswerDogs1 decade agoWhat's with all the bad spelling and grammar in these questions?
It's interesting that so many people are looking for songs and lyrics but are unable to spell anything. Not that I'm any kind of genius, but spell check is available on most computers isn't it? How come so many refuse to use it? VERY frustrating!
Who's with me?!
6 AnswersPolls & Surveys1 decade agoToday I saw the most amazing half of a van...?
Driving down the street in Toronto. It was a Mitsubishi I think. Looked just like a full size cargo van but about 1/2-1/3 of the size. Very cool. Anyone have an idea what the model might be? Are they sold in Canada?

I'm looking for a couple of killer smoothie recipes. Not necessarily your run of the mill smoothie; maybe something off the beaten path. Something for summertime. Any suggestions??
