  • Do you have any thoughts on the S&W shield .40? Or, do you know of another good .40 for concealed carry?

    Hi, I.m interested in purchasing a S&W Shield .40 for inside the waistband carry. I previously had a Beretta Cheetah .380. I was super accurate with that gun, but it was very bulky. That gun was stolen. I'm interested in the Shield, but I don't know anyone who has one and the gun range where I'm a member does not stock it (but they'll order it).

    As a second question, do you have any recommendations regarding another .40 that can be used for concealed carry *AND* has a manual/thumb safety? I have no interest in carrying a gun without a safety.
