  • 99 malibu electrical problem?

yesterday my car was working 100% perfect, i changed the oil and rotated the tires. today i go walking up to my car and hear an electrical hum, i notice it was the wiper motors, getting enough power to make the hum but not enough to move the blades, i turned the key to on and then pulled the key out and have not had a problem since, but now after i turn the key to on let my radio warm up and then turn the key off, my radio no longer turns off, a relitive a GM electrical engineer says that its cause of the delay, but my car does not have a delay, at least since we got it from the dealership it didn't, but the radio does not turn off unless it has something suck the power from it for example flick the wipers on, (wipers do not move but the radio gets killed) so i am compleatly puzzled, however i think that it could be my radio's low amperage line is connecting to its main power line but i dont feel like pulling my radio out to find out its not it, also i put my radio in my self roughly 1 year ago, but have not had any problems with it (until today)

  • What Gauge wire should i use to carry 12v and 80 amps safely?

i just ordered a 800 watt inverter and realized that that would be too much power for a cigarrette lighter plug so i am going to hard wire it to my car, so i need to know what gauge wire is needed for 67 amps but i would like to go with 80 amps just to be safe, thank you
