3 AnswersOther - United States1 decade agoA little information regarding living in Tunisia please?
Good day, I 'd really appreciate any help on this please.
I'm a Filipino who is being offered a job as a cook in the residence of the Korean Ambassador in Tunisia. It seems like the salary would be around 1200 US$ per month. And I will be housed in the residence of the Ambassador.
I'd like to know if this pay is relatively good in Tunisia?
Also, I'd really appreciate any information regarding the place, like how is it on a day-to-day existence, do's and don't, what to bring just in case, you know, the informations locals know.
BTW, I have spent a year and a half in Dubai. Assuming that Tunisia is an 'arab' country and is modern like dubai, will it be just like living in Dubai?
THANK YOU for any advice. Good day!

1 AnswerOther - Destinations1 decade agoquestions for miami-based chefs/cooks (esp PINOYS) about working for THE SETAI in miami, FL?
i would like to ask how much is the average salary of a kitchen person working for a hotel in miami, FL? i will be interviewed for a kitchen job in THE SETAI and i would like to know if the salary will be worth it. i will be placed by a recruitment agency (a reputable one, i checked with the gov't lsiting) and if i do get accepted will have to shell out around PhP200 K for placement fee ( & I also asked around and usually filipinos getting recruited for jobs in the US will usually shell out money for placement). I think i'll be issued an H2-B working visa.
Any inputs and advice will be very much appreciated.

4 AnswersOther - Food & Drink1 decade agoi will need some opinions regarding a job offer in saudi arabia please?
I am a filipina being offered a job in Saudi Arabia (i think in Jeddah but I'm not sure) as a family cook for a family of 6-7. The employer sounded nice when we were talking over the phone, sounded like he's not a strict muslim and all. He said I will be fully in-charge of cooking healthy lunch and dinner for the family. He has a lot of Filipinas also hired as maids.
Also the salary is only around US$350.00/mo, 2 year contract, 1 off every 2 weeks, stay-in but whenever the family will be going to their place in London and in Egypt, I will also be going with them.
Do you guys think this is a nice offer? How is it living in KSA? I've been in Dubai for 1.5 yrs but I know KSA is much different. How is it going to be there for me? Any inputs or advice will be very much appreciated.
Thank you in advance.
12 AnswersSaudi Arabia1 decade agoOn an average, how much is the salary of a cook that will be working for a hotel in miami, fl?
Question Details: I'm from the Manila, Philippines & I will be having an interview for an overseas job (as a cook) in Miami, FL. I would like to know how much is the average salary/month of a cook/kitchen position working for a hotel? I am asking because if I do take this job, it'll require me to shell out quite a lot of money and I am computing if it will be worth it. It'll be around PhP200 K for a minimum of 6-mos working visa. Thank you for any input!
If there are fellow Pinoys who are also working in hotels as cooks, I would like to hear from you. Thanks again!
