8 AnswersComics & Animation1 decade agoWhere do you normally buy your doujinshi?
Doujinshi fans ahoy! :D
Okay. I'm a doujinshi hunter, and since I'm in the mood of it I want to know some online stores that I can buy doujinshis. I'm into Naruto, Gundam Seed and D.Gray-man ones though. New or second-hand.
To note:
1. I live in Malaysia, so it's kinda hard to get one from bookstores. The only option left is buying them online. And I prefer PayPal and debit cards for payments (I can only send money order to Japan and Hong Kong... TT__TT).
2. Since last year I have been using JPQueen online store, and currently I'm using Celga (a Yahoo! Japan Auctions bidding agent). So far they're both good, but there are missing items (meaning: hunted items not there). So I need new ones. (I'm also about to use eBay in a few month's time. :)
Don't tell me about downloading them. I have many scanned and scanlated doujinshis, some of them are interesting for a hard copy.
Can you help me? Pwetty pweeeaase? *shiny eyes*
Thanks! =^_^=
6 AnswersComics & Animation1 decade agoWhat’s the deal with singing talent competitions?
First to say, I live in Malaysia and I’m surprised to see so many singing talent competitions here. I can say that there’s about 6 to 7 local TV programs per year, which is, for me, way too many.
I can relate with 2 or 3, but lately I think that these programs have gone overboard. 7 is a big number, and with each year, it’s getting harder to really find a good-quality singer nowadays. Although I don’t join in any, I still think that the quality of the singers is not enough to bring Malaysia to the world.
Also, I have been informed about the troubles local artists have: big efforts but little payments, copyright piracies, lack of show performances, scandals and many more. And people entering the contests don’t seem to have basic knowledge, which is not a good thing. Plus, I don’t understand why would these people want to be professional singers despite the harsh reality they are about to face - I think most of them only wanted fame.
What is your opinion about this?
2 AnswersSinging1 decade agoNaruto Shippuuden Ep. 35 Question: Did you notice...?
.... that the name Minato is mentioned somewhere in the episode? :) If not, this is the chance to get 10 points for it!
Your task is to find out where Minato's name is mentioned throughout the episode. Note that you need understand Japanese (you don't have to know the whole thing; as long as you can hear his name mentioned or be able to read Japanese characters is fine). You don't need to tell the specific timing (since the timing in what I see may be different with yours); all you have to do is tell me where did you find the name Minato and when it was mentioned.
First correct answer gets 10 points, so happy re-watching and happy hunting! =^_^= Good luck! &hearts
7 AnswersComics & Animation1 decade agoWhat do you think of your country's local animation industry?
Last time, I asked about the anime industry in your country, and many have different opinions. This time I'd like to ask about your local animation industry (i.e. not anime stuffs, just what your country's animation companies do). What do you think of them?
Things included are availability, airing times, companies, qualities and stuffs. You may also add comments if you want to.
As a Malaysian, though I'm happy there are many good-quality animations, sadly they're not available freely on TV channels. We have to either get them in DVD, cinemas and subscriptions, I mean, lol whut? And those that are aired in the channels are actually not good ones. It's sad, you know... TT_____TT I'm thinking that they are actually very stingy when it comes to animating, although good ones are supposed to be proud of. >_>
So what do you think of your local ones? :)
2 AnswersComics & Animation1 decade agoA rather stupid Naruto question - about Chuunin vest?
We know many Naruto characters have been promoted to Chuunin (and some Jounin), right? If it's so, I want to ask one thing:
WHERE ARE THEIR VESTS?
Currently, Shikamaru and Lee are the only ones wearing them. Naruto doesn't wear one because he's still a genin, but what happened to others?
Give me a creative answer and who knows, maybe you'll get the points!
Happy answering! :)

What do you think of the anime (Japanese animations only, not your local ones) in your country? What is your opinion on the dubs, subs, channels that air them, the airing times, and also all products and merchandises available there?
I'm just curious. :)
