As someone studying Italian on my own, I'd also appreciate anything you could tell me about mistakes I made.

One of the themes of 1984 and Animal Farm was the ability of the Government to mislead the population by changing historical records. Do you think that the invention of computers and the internet would make this easier or harder?

It makes perfect sense to me that only one person can get the big 10 points for a "best" answer, but a lot of times there's more than one "good" answer, and I'd like to see people get some credit for those. I learn new things by reading other people's answers, and I don't see any reason people shouldn't get points for each person they help, whether or not the one person who asked the question awards them "best answer."

What do you think?

I understand that it would be impossible to see because of the clouds, but theoretically, what would the Earth look like if it could be viewed from Venus? Would look as bright as Venus looks from the Earth?

I have heard that when people turn 33 in Russia, they are said to have reached "Christ's Age" - the age at which Christ died. What does this signify? According to tradition, is the year supposed to bring wisdom, or suffering, or some sort of change in a person's life?

I've looked at Corollas with similar trim, transmission, etc., and the new ones are often cheaper than the used ones. This seems counter-intuitive. Does anyone know why this is? (What I'm really asking, of course, is - what's the catch?)
