  • Baby jogger that is lightweight, reclines, has snack tray?

I've started looking for a jogging stroller and wondering if there is one that is lightweight, has a seat that can recline when the baby is sleeping and has a snack tray for the baby? I've been able to find 2 out of 3 so far, but all three would be great!

  • Family leave for husband has been stalled, what to do?

My husband requested a few weeks of paternity leave from his company and initially the HR director responded with an email to notify him that our medical coverage would continue throughout the leave. She also stated that she'd have to research things further before she could provide more details. It's been a few weeks since, my husband has tried contacting her a few times and has not heard a word since. In the meantime my husband could tell his boss was not excited about my husband taking a few weeks off and has been extra critical of his work. His team has also started taking lunches together and not inviting my husband. So it feels like retaliation, subtle in some ways and not so much in others.

I researched the FMLA website and my husband is covered, we are also trying to follow the steps outlined to comply with the law. But we are stalled at the first step, my husband has given over 30 days notice and we can't seem to move forward. Any suggestions?

  • Does a company have the right to monitor whether their employees are job-seeking?

My husband posted a resume on Monster and the very next day the VP came out to meet with him. He said that HR had called to his attention this resume posting and he asked my husband to not quit and please stay. Since then the VP has shown up to meet with a couple other employees and my husband wonders if they also posted their resume on Monster. Employment is at-will, does a company have a right to monitor whether their employees post their resumes online? It spooked my husband that they would do such a thing. My husband posted the resume at home so it wasn't done on company time or with a company computer.

  • Best recipe for home-made dishwasher detergent?

I stumbled upon an article that claimed you can make your own dishwasher detergent using a combination of Arm & Hammer Super Washing Soda and 20 Mule Team Borax (1 Tablespoon of each). It's supposed to be better for the environment and costs far less than store-bought detergents. I tried it and quite honestly despite the reviews I don't think it cleans dishes very well. Does anyone have a tried and true recipe?

  • What are some fast food items I can eat in the first trimester?

I'm having a hard time eating, about the only things I can eat without getting sick are pink grapefruit and french fries. I used to eat healthy but it's hard when you can't keep food down! I'm also too tired to cook, what are some fast food alternatives that are palatable in the first trimester?
