I recently got arrested as a minor in possession of alcohol. I was bailed out with 400 dollars as I pleaded guilty. I was told that if I pleaded guilty that I would not have to attend court or deal with any other legal issues. I'm confused as to what this was all considered? A citation? Does this mean I was immediately convicted? How does this appear on my criminal record? I'm worried since I'm graduating from college next May. Help! Thanks.

I recently started dating a guy who is currently deployed in Iraq. I met his parents when he came to town a few weeks ago, so I was thinking if I should bring his parents a gift for Thanksgiving? I mean they have not invited me to their home or anything like that, however I thought it would be something they would appreciate. So what is something I could easily drive by and deliver to them on Thanksgiving? Is it too soon to attempt to make a better impression- they seem to like me already (we mingled alot when the lover was in town). Suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Hi everyone!

Well I need some advice. This semester I'll be teaching Spanish classes weekly at a daycare center for 30 minute sessions to 2-5 year olds. I have never taught Spanish to children besides my brothers and well I've given catechism classes to children in Spanish. What are some good activities to make the language fun and exciting for the children?

I have to make a curriculum and I have a mentor, my college Spanish teacher who will be providing me with tips and advice as well, however I would appreciate any additional ideas.

Hi everyone,

I recently received my real estate license in the state of Texas (last week) and now I'm working for a local company. Well now I'm trying to market myself throughout the community. What are some different localities where I can perhaps display business cards? What other marketing tools could I possibly use besides handing out business cards, pamplets, brochures, along with flyers?

Some of the things I've done already are to buy car magnets and business cards, which at the moment I'm waiting to receive them. I have gone to different localities like gas stations, restaurants, and hotels to ask if once I receive my business cards if they would allow me to display them there.

Some of the things that I think are advantageous for me are the fact that I am a female and speak Spanish and English fluently. However I'm 19 years old and I'm afraid that sometimes people are more interested in experienced Realtors rather then young ones. Help! Thank You very much.

For some weird reason, all the time that I eat meat (cow and pork meat) I stop enjoying my meal immediately after I start thinking about how I'm eating an animal etc... I don't eat chicken, I have not eaten that in about 10 years. Well gosh ugh I don't know what's wrong with me! I guess is all a psychological problem. The only type of meat that I seem to be able to eat and enjoy without any intricancy is seafood. Does anyone else go through this?

I'm having difficulty in analyzing the different aspects of the careers that I could seek in the future with either degree, any idea/help is greatly appreciated. By the way I'm currently in the real estate business, real estate agent, aspiring to attend law school to eventually practice business law/real estate law, as soon as I graduate with my bachelor's degree in 2 years. But which bachelor's degree would be more suitable for business law? I am aware that marketing works out perfectly with my real estate career, but what about for the purpose of practicing business law?

Well I've been trying to search for a law school that has a specialization in immigration, but I can't seem to find anything. Does anyone know of an specific law school that may have that? Or Real Estate law?

I'm not sure if I'm understanding how specializations in Law school works, if anyone can clarify this for me I'll be very thankful.

I get paid monthly, and well I want to file my income taxes tomorrow. I usually use my last check, I get paid the 15th of every month, am I suppose to use the check that I'm about to receive on the 15th of this month (January)? Or is it okay if I use the check that I received last year in Decemeber?

The reason I ask is cause I have to do tons of essays and I was thinking of modifying one of my old ones that I did in high school for college. But I don't want to do anything that I really shouldn't.

I received a low grade for one of my courses this semester. In the syllabus the professor states that rewrites will be permitted per assignment. In such case is it okay for me to ask the professor for the opportunity to rewrite the essays perhaps the ones that I did not receive back at all? If he does not allow this would it be reasonable to dispute this to the head of the department? This is all due to the fact that everyone in the class never received their essays back and the teacher always insisted on putting it off to another day thus saying he would email us the errors that way we could fix them. But this never happened. Therefore I'm seeking answers and I would like answers with explanations as to why yes or no.
