  • Windows Vista - Sound all of a sudden won't stay up!?

It worked fine until last week, now all of a sudden the sound won't stay up. Within a couple of seconds it goes back to zero. I have updated the sound card drivers and it is still doing it. Any suggestions?

  • Housing Code Violations for Rental Properties?

We are currently renting a house. We have a laundry list of complaints about it ranging from the toilet constantly leading to the foundation caving in and having mold. I have called the city offices and all they can give me is a list of codes for new structures. How can I get this stuff resolved? Who else should I contact? Should I call HHS too??

We are going to be having a baby soon and this house has too many things that are unsafe for him. I have already drafted a list for the landlord as to what we feel needs to be addressed.

  • Insurance/Title Question?

My husband and I got divorced on Monday. He wanted to take our truck (which we owe twice what it's worth) so I let him have it. The loan and the title are both in my name. I am required to turn it over to him at the end of the month. He has 90 days to get a loan and title it in his name. If he fails to do so, do I still have to carry insurance on a vehicle I can't drive??? I'm not wanting to pay $120 for something I dont' have possession of!!

  • Going through a divorce, keep my vehicle or not?

Ok, little background. I'm going through a divorce and we (my lawyer and I) are proposing that my ex-husband and I file for bankruptcy. We have a 2002 S-10 Crew Cab that is worth around $9000. The worst part is that we owe around $16,000. My credit is awful because of the divorce and I'm not making enough to keep up with all the bills (my ex is currently only paying for a $7000 bill and I have around $30,000 I'm paying for -- he thinks he doesn't have to pay for anything -- ha RIGHT!). So I highly doubt I can get a loan on a cheaper vehicle.

Should I keep the truck or let the bank take it in the bankruptcy?

Oh the lawyer is suggesting I get rid of it. I'm torn I want to do what is best for me, but it's the best car I've ever had!
