October Rain

Well for the past couple of months, I've had a lot of people coming up to me in school and asking if my brother is gay. (im a senior, hes a sophomore.) I always denied that he was because I truly thought he was. But as it turns out, he came out to my best friend (shes also one of his close friends) and she told me because shes worried about him. I don't want to sound like a jerk, and I really do love my brother, its just I dont know how to react. We were raised in the country where being gay is still considered to be some great sin and can pretty much ruin someones reputation. My mother was raised the same way so shes always saying negative things about gays or lesbians. Thats why I think hes afraid to come out to my family... Its not that Im against gay rights or anything and I believe that people should be happy with whoever they want, but I just dont understand it! But anyway, I guess I just need some advice on how to come to turns with all of this and how to help my brother feel better about himself.

well. I had a cup of water in my lap and I was fiddling around with my iPod, (its a super old frst generation). well iPod went into the water for not even a second. I dried it off as fast as I could and then stuck it in a bag of rice for a few hours. took it out to see how it was doing and everything is fine except it says it doesnt have an internet connection? My wifi is working for everything else so it must be the iPod. I reset it and everything and it still wont work :( what can I do!? Thanks!!!

So I got the depo shot a day after my period. Will it still start to work immediately even though it wasn't given on the recommended fifth day of your period? just wondering because about five days afterwards I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend and have been having weird symptoms since. Im a 16 year old girl and I really want to start some sort of birth control. I just dont know what to choose! I need something very effective, that won't mess up my period *(its already irregular and super heavy). I mostly want to get on it to make my period lighter, more regular, and just over all more bearable. And I dont want anything that might make me infertile. Any advice or suggestions? Thanks so much!

my front top tooth has been really painful lately. Its sensitive when I press on it and is always throbbing when I wake up. I haven't had any problems with it before last week when I got my tonsils removed. my mom thinks that when they put the tube down my throat during the surgery, they may have hit it or something? anyways do you think this will go away or should I make a dentists appointment?

Im getting my tonsils out over spring break (great timing) anyways. What should I expect? I've heard a lot of stories. some good, some bad. I have been with my boyfriend for a year and a half now. we've known each other since elementary school and have been close for 2 years. They have been the best 2 years of my life. He's my best friend and always knows how to cheer me up. I love him so much and honestly don't know what I would do with out him. I've had a hard past and a lot of issues but he's helped me through everyone. Lately however things have been falling apart... Hes really stressed and doesn't know "if he has time for a girlfriend." Now im willing to stand by him until everything blows over but he doesn't seem to want that.. hes pushing me away. Im scared to loose him but I think thats what he thinks is best... what should I do? please help! thanks!

I've made a vet appointment for Thursday but he looks like hes in so much pain! I don't like seeing him so hurt and grumpy. Is there anything I can do to help temporarily ease his pain? I don't know if I should give him Advil or Mortrin...? hes a 65 pound, 3 year golden retriever. thanks for all the help!

my laptop was working perfectly fine when I was on it. I left for a little bit and it fell asleep. when I woke it up my sound never came back on. if you had to live with just one type of dog breed for the rest of your life what would it be? I'd have to say golden retriever. my golden is my best friend and baby :) I do admit, he is quite spoiled.. but he has such a sweet personaility and puts a smile on everyones face.

well our year anniversary is on saturday and I really want to do something special to help him realize how much he means to me! the problem is im not really sure what to get. hes a really big hunter (I barely see him when hunting season comes around haha). he loves tractors and all that type of rednecky stuff. I am so confused. A lot of my friends and family feel like I have an eating disorder... Im a small person so I feel like I don't need as much food as them. I weigh 98 pounds, 5 feet 3ish inches, and im 15. so my basic diet in a day is:

breakfast: cup of milk

lunch: some crackers and an orange or ceral

and then dinner is whatever my mom makes or sometimes I skip because im not hungry...

I never really seem to loose weight? so I don't think its thats bad. but when I do eat I get really nauseous and have a stomach ache afterwards... I do sometimes get really weak or light headed but after I eat its fine... please no negative comments... Im just trying to figure out what to do, thanks!

ok so whenever I wake up from sleeping or a nap my eyes are ALWAYS bright red. it fades as the day goes on and I usually put some Visine drops in them to help clear it up faster. it looks like pink eye. I do wear contacts, but never sleep in them. what could be wrong with me??

I never had to go through loosing a grandparent so I have no idea what to say to my boyfriend... everyone knew it was coming because shes 98 but its still tough on the family.
