I have a pair of Mavic Cosmos 6000 Series wheels, somewhere between '04-'06 years. It has a Campy hub body but I'm switching to Sram gruppo. I am having a very hard time finding the hub body for this model. Need help mechanics! Where can I ask, look, or find this??

So I saw that Mike Phelps sleeps in this, like glass cube, that simulates high altitude. I read that this increases or helps, red blood cells as well as VO2 max. Is this type of thing allowed in cycling for the pros? I don't see why not. There is nothing being injected or ingested. So???

I have a pair of, maybe 2006, Mavic Ksyrium SSC SL's. The brake walls look like they have little chips in 'em. My buddy used them a few times in really nasty weather. Why I don't know. So....the walls feel worn just by running my finger over the wall/rim. Will I need to replace them? They look like they still have plenty of life left and, believe it or not, they are still true. Also, the rear hub feels a little sluggish. Can I get it rebiult? Should I send it to Mavic or just take it to my local shop? Need some help EXPERIENCED riders and mechanics!

It seems that carbon frames have longer wheel bases than other bikes. At least it seems. I just got an aluminum/carbon (seatstays) frame and the wheel base looks pretty short. Just wondering. It looks like this will make a nice race crit frame.

I am mostly concerned about the front derailleur. Will there be problems? Would it be better if I just went with a 36 inner? I am using an FSA Carbon Team Issue crank, 172.5mm, 130 bcd. I'll be using a Sram Rival front derailleur.

Just want to make sure. Switching gruppo from 105 to either Apex or Rival. Just got new 105 hubs to build new wheels.

I recently had some crazy stuff happen with my poochie. She was urinating too much so I took her to the vet only to find out there is nothing wrong with her. Blood and urin tests clean. $300 down the tubes. D'oh!! But it made me realize how something can happen so quickly. I live in Chicago if that matters.

I've been riding road bikes for a while now. I wonder, is it better to have more FRAME under you than to have to make adjustments with say the stem and crank length? Or does it really matter? I'm riding a compact frame right now (54st-56tt) and it feels fine....I think. I'm feeling a little something in my hips now (left mostly). Maybe my cleat placement is wrong? I can't figure it out. Strongly advise fitting? Never did this so I also wonder about cost. Any good advise would help.

Would there be any benefits to having an account like this overseas as opposed to here considering the Euro has better value?

The last couple of years I have been doing century rides which are a ton of fun. But when I get to about the 85 mile mark my knees start to get sore. Some thoughts or suggestions would help. I am riding Campy pedals with no float cleat on a compact geometry frame.

He actually said that boxers would be able to knockout MMA fighters even before they get the chance to grapple. MMA fighters would kick the crap outta boxers in my opinion. A couple of UFC fighters called them one trick ponies. Any other thoughts?
