I have no programming experience, but I am a fast learner. I'm decent with mathematics, and I have taken all the advanced math classes (such as multi-variable calc.) in the short semesters. This Java and C++ course are each worth 3 semester units, not 5 like Calculus...

I have been given the option of choosing only one of these two programs, which do you guys recommend? I have heard great things about both, but I have heard a few more greater things about VideoStudio X4. For instance, i've heard that X4 is much easier to use, and that you can manipulate animation with it. I haven't heard this about Sony. Also consider that Sony cost $20 more than X4, and therefore might be better.

So in general, would someone please tell me which one they believe is better for unprofessional AND professional work?

I heard that airlines actually rent and/or lease the aircraft that they use, instead of purchasing them from Boeing or Airbus; just like movie studios rent cameras, instead of buying them, from Panavision. Is this true about airlines?

Im curious to know whether there is a substantial amount of neo-Nazis, skinheads, KKK members, in or around NYC, like there is in and around L.A. county or Orange county. It's just that NYC is a super diverse place that one may think that virtually nothing like this exist there. You've all seen "American History X" right, that took place in Venice, L.A., close to where i grew up, AND i've personally seen and met skinheads in Venice, and in Orange Co.. So yea, i'm wondering if any of you New Yorkers out there know of these groups being there or have even seen them in your city.

Nothing was really answered. So L.A parallel universe was the true purgatory and not the island, or were they both purgatory, b/c they imply that they all died when the flight 815 crashed (remember the final scenes w/ the plane wreckage). Was this wreckage that of flight 815 or the other plane that Sawyer, and Richard, and Lapidus escaped on. WTF????? These past 6 years have been a total waste of time. This whole series could have been completed in 3 years, instead of 6. ABC just stretched the show for so long b/c it was a huge money maker, that is why so most of the plot was pointless. I play a lot of battlefield 2 and ace combat, and i've always wanted to know how it's possible for another plane to detect when I'm targeting them w/ heat-seeking missiles (air-to-air and surface-to-air missiles)? I assume they have various sensors all over the plane, but what exactly do these sensors pick up when my targeting computer is in the process of locking on to them?

I have a Steyr straight-pull rifle, and i found 8x57 ammo at a low price, but my rifle cardboard box says 8x56R?

I'm paying for TWC RoadRunner plan that goes up to about 8Mb/s, but in the past 2 months i've been getting VERY SLOW transfer rates when downloading files from ALL websites except www.microsoft.com.

I do bandwidth tests on speakeasy.com and speedtest.net and they alwasy result at above 6Mb/s, sometimes on speakeasy i get

15--20Mb/s.

But when i download from even strong websites like Apple.com or nvidia.com, i get transfer rates below 180kb/s, any day at all times, even if directly connected to modem and not linksys router.

microsoft.com is the only site that gives me good rates, always above 600kb/s. Idk know.

I ALWAYS use to get average transfer rates at or above 450kb/s when i first got TWC

Can anyone please tell me whats wrong and how to fix it, b/c TWC's incompetent tech support cant.

The car cranks for approx more than 5 seconds, but runs good after its ON.

Been told it might be some fuel injection problem or the Starter.
