I'm not the best forward on my team but I'm not the worst. It especially bugs me when we're on the penalty kill. We run the box and go over it in practice for at least 20 min. and yet it comes time to do it in a game our forwards chase the puck everywhere. He yells at them and tells them to maintain the box but they don't and he still plays them anyway. I know how to play the box and am very good at being in the right position 98% of the time. I ask my coach and my dad ( who is an assistant coach and who has been my head coach's friend since they were young kids) about giving me a chance and they never do. If its' my turn to go out he won't let me or if I'm already out and only been out for a short time he takes me off and doesn't give me a reason. What's worse is when he gets mad at me when I get upset about being taken off. Worse is that he criticizes our bad penalty killing he won't even give me a chance.
