  • Linear Algebra question?

    dy/dx=24+18x+32y+24xy

    has the implicit general solution of form F(x,y)= K

    In fact, because the differential equation is separable, we can define the solution curve implicitly by a function in the form

    F(x,y)= G(x)+H(y) = K

    Find such a solution and give the related functions requested.

    F(x,y)= G(x)+H(y) = ?

  • A couple problems with my wireless network?

    Hi I recently got a laptop for christmas and I immediately checked the specs to make sure my mom got what I wanted. Lol I was grateful all the same just wanted to make sure it didn't suck. But after checking the specs I found that I had a wireless b/g/n card meaning that I should be able to wirelessly access the internet at 100mbps, yet when I connect to the internet I only get 54mbps. After checking my router I learned that it is a wireless n router meaning that it should support 100mbps but no matter what I do I cannot maximize my internet connection. Overall this isn't a major problem I just find it extremely aggravating that I can't access it.

    There is another problem I am also having, which is I am unable to wireless connect two computer the internet at the same time. In my house we now have 3 laptops with wireless connections, 2 desktops which are both wired connections, and an xbox 360 and ps3 both with wired connections. I have a linksys wrt110 router and it has never had a problem connecting all the wired connections along with 1 wireless connection, even all at the same time, but now that I have my own laptop, even when nothing else is running I cannot access the internet wireless on two laptops at the same time.

    My network is protected with a password and two laptops have windows 7 and one has vista.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.

  • Laptop comparison: Did I make a good choice?

    I recently bought myself a laptop for Christmas but the more I shop around the more anxious I become about my decision. My budget was 550$ and I spent 10$ over that (but I forgot about shipping). The specs of the computer I bought are

    HP G60t customizable Notebook PC

    * • Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

    * • Intel(R) Pentium(R) Dual-Core Mobile Processor T4400 (2.2 GHz, 1MB L2 Cache, 800MHz FSB)

    * • FREE Ugprade to 3GB DDR2 System Memory (2 Dimm) from 2GB DDR2 System Memory (2 Dimm)

    * • FREE Upgrade to 320GB 5400RPM SATA Hard Drive from 160GB 5400RPM SATA Hard Drive

    * • Intel(R) Graphics Media Accelerator 4500M - For Celeron and Pentium Processors

    * • 15.6" diagonal High Definition HP Brightview Display (1366x768)

    * • LightScribe SuperMulti 8X DVD+/-RW with Double Layer Support

    * • Microphone Only

    * • Wireless-N Mini-card

    * • HP Color Matching Keyboard

    * • 6 Cell Lithium Ion Battery

    * • Microsoft(R) Works 9.0

    * • HP Home & Home Office Store in-box envelope

    but there are computer on Bestbuy.com that seem to be a lot better price for about the same performance.

    Most of the ones under 550$ seem to be pretty good laptops. Did I make a bad choice?
