When the rag and bone man came round but all he had was balloons, I only found this out from my first ex wife that it was standard practice for genuine rag and bone men to offer goldfish in a bag or balloons. Obviously cash (gin money) for anything the kids didn't grab first and the parents were short after rent day.

Either our crap was really crap and just worth balloons or maybe my parents lied to me. What did you get for your rags? the reason why I ask this in Gov 'n' politics is most of our rag n bone men were Irish gypsies and thanks to the EU we'll have maybe 100,000 extra gypsies from overseas in 2014.
