I've basically been born in raised in San Antonio Texas. If you didn't know San Antonio is heavily influenced by the latin Americans culture. It's something that's familiar to me and I've grown to love every bit of it and it accepts me despite my practically all white background. I know Mexico is rough but for the amount of work illegal immigrants must do being underpaid and all the bullshit they put up with it baffles me how they still come here. Mexicans especially illegal ones I've come across have for the most part been all hard working trusting and have a strong sense of family they look out for their loved ones and friends and would give you the shirt off your back if you were close enough. Besides the point I'm simply worried about what will happen to friends of mine that are illegals living here for years. I'm worried that all this beautiful diverse culture that makes this city GREAT will be taken away or take a hit. I don't know any city that's more American than San Antonio it's a city so diverse with traditional Mexican culture and American culture that it's own category. People here don't care we look past are differences and accept each other for who we are regardless ethnicity.

So I'll try to keep things short I'm an ex recovering alcoholic who recently fell off the wagon I went on a camping trip for ten days (seemed like the perfect place and way to get shitfaced for days with no one giving me **** for it) except it turns out someone did give me **** for it they called the park ranger cuz you can't have booze on the park yada yada yada park ranger shows up and is really actually pretty cool he says I know y'all are drinking stay honest with me and things will go easy for you. So we tell him whats up take him to the seperate tent we stored the booze in and brought it all out... ALL of it. Maybe I should've left like half cuz when I brought it all out and he lined it up he just kept expressing like jesus christ you kids, what the hell, I had no clue you had this much, you were going to drink all of this? Well he says he wasnt originally gonna give us an MIP but he would'nt be doing his job if he turned a blind eye and wrote out two tickets because I'm 18 there was no problem with parents but anyways it said on the ticket I needed to call or make an appearance in burnet county court before september 5th this happened about almost a month ago now and I've called several times but they say they don't have a case. So now I'm clueless as to what's going on and wonder if he turned it in or perhaps he just let me off the hook either way if it's taking a while to process or something I'd like to know I'd rather not end up in jail for missing court

Alright so maybe I'm being ignorant and this is extremely stupid but I think these are valid points especially since the chances of cancer coming back after five years were so freakin slim (It's been six years). Getting to the point I had tumor in my small intestines called a GIST (Gastrointestinal intestinal stromal tumor) before they actually found it we new that I was losing iron as it was causing internal bleeding and we found it through my stools (they were black) they originally thought i had an iron deficiency which was a symptom but not the problem. After cutting it out I did a year of chemo easy stuff got the new Gleevec at the time and I've been good ever since. Until now the past couple weeks I had some diarrhea and more recently black stools. But I don't feel like I did when I first had cancer and I'm way more active now when I first had it I couldn't go on hike for more than thirty minutes without being exauhsted and having to turn back now I can still play basketball for hours and feel ok I'm also still eating like every other male teen my age where as accidently eating the extra crust on my PBJ could have me kneeled over vomiting the next three hours also my color is still the same I've compared pictures I'm no where near the color I was with cancer and I haven't changed in the past few months... So do I need to take some precautionary steps here or am I thinking to much about this seeing as how absolutely nothing but my stool has changed...

Shaq was dominant one of the most successful nba careers ever really and was just such a dominant big man honestly the man's footwork and mobility for his size is just freakish as Shaq said “I scored 28,000 points on two moves, jump hook, and the drop-step.” Now that’s what I call dominant. And while with accomplishments and his own assurance as proof he says he didn’t need anything else for his game. While this is true sometimes I look at Shaq’s career and feel like disappointed like if he had just tried to work on his free throws a little more (Honestly his form was terrible I feel like he never attempted much else or to try to shoot correctly at the line even though he’d take his time when he actually shot he’d kind of just chunk it up like he just gave up) if his free throws had improved it could have had an impact with his jump shot which he never really needed for his game as he could move close to the basket with such ease but still it would have been an added element to his game that the defense would have had to pay attention to and might have lengthened his actual playing career as his game was severely hurt towards the end of the career (What can you expect when hes so tired finally plagued with injury he can’t keep playing that same style he always did it’s to physically demanding). Ability to make a left handed layup as defense only had to guard his right side or preform the infamous "Haq-A-Shaq". I love shaq but does anyone else feel like he wasted potential?

So I'm 17 and other than shelter, food, and clothing I'm not given anything for free from my father. Which is fine by me because I can't stand being a freeloader so the day I turned sixteen I walked down to a resturaunt by my street and applied after being hired that week I have continued to work there for just now a little bit over a year... I'm a good employee I know because they ask me to do stuff no one else does and only I am dumb enough to say yes. I always cover shifts on my days off and am friendly with the staff. But I've just about had it with juicing these damn limes it's not even my job it's the dishwashers job but he's so slow they had me take over and not only does it suck like literally painfully (multiple cuts and blisters from the juicer and while the lime juice at least sterilizes them it hurts like hell) but I'm missing out on money it takes almost a good hour to do and that means I miss out on getting the restaurants to go orders which I do make a lot of tip money off of... So I guess the question is after realizing I wasn't able to operate machinery in the restaurant (e.g. the slicer you have to be 18 to use) does the juicer fall under this category? Any idea how I could maybe talk my manager in having someone else do this?

So been quite awhile since I ve been roller blading after going to a skating rink the other day I decided I really wanted to get back into it. The last time I was skating I had a cheap Walmart pair for like 30 bucks that i think broke or something leading me to an early retirement now I that I have a job and no real use for my money other than saving it I don t dropping much larger figures I m just looking for the best all around inline skates. Not specialized but the best all around in comfort speed durability and something still good for basically a beginner... Price is not a factor really in the decision I just really want whatever best fits the criteria.

Kind of new to the sneaker game starting buying them last year I use them mainly to play basketball but I like to look nice when I'm not playing... I don't know I just really feel like copping a pair when they come out and dont know when theyre coming out

So quite awhile ago I was caught smoking cigarettes underaged when a cop came up on me he proceeded to take me back to school and he printed out a court date to show up to. I went there things went ok pleaded no contest had a bit of a hefty court fee paid that on the spot and was sentenced six months probation a long with a tobacco course I was required to take... Took the course everything seems to be ok so I get a letter from them saying I did it... Stayed the night at a friends long story short I lost it now I feel screwed because I haven t gotten that letter and the day that I was supposed to turn it in was like a week ago almost... What s going to happen? Do I still have time? I m afraid failure of this will mean this going on my record because with the deal I took it was supposed to be erased...

We got two big forwards and if you look at the roster right now Duncan is listed as starting center and Aldridge starting PF. Obviously something had to be done with the loss of the Splitter and Baynes but Duncan at center worries me. Offensively I know he can handle it but I wonder how he will compare to bigger monsters in the NBA like Deandre Jordan or Dwight Howard. Skill level wise Duncan can take either of them easy but physically is worrisome Baynes wasn't that great but he knew the system and could at least take the physical pressure I'm not sure how Duncan will hold up. We have Borris but there's a size issue there. I'm excited with our tallent everywhere else the spurs really look like an elite team but I feel like we're missing this one key essential part.

Why is it that in the 06-07 betting scandal that the NBA ref Tim Donaghy was sentenced to do time in Federal prison but then also sentenced for a long time of supervised release. I honestly doubt he was gonna be put in the same position to commit the same crime so why sentence him under supervised release? I'm not arguing as to whether he deserved his punishment it just seems his charge was a bit out of place for what he did.

If I'm dribbling the basketball and stop with the ball secured in both hands but the defender gets a hand on it can I legally start dribbling again? Just a debate me and my friend have I really don't think you can.

I'm pretty athletic I mean last time I measured my vertical it was 27'' while I'm about 5'10" and I am 17 years old weighing about 160 lbs. I plan on getting a gym membership and working out intensely with things like explosive squats bounding explosive calf raises running with weights ect... My goal is to be able to slam it into the the rim by the end of this summer before senior year starts. I know it's not the most important thing but if I get a vertical high enough to get me to the rim it's gonna help out my shot around the basket period and anywhere else really.

Can I bury myself in snow like wolves and huskys instinctivly do in snow to stay warm. Can a human do this to keep warm or at least alive?

So to avoid 6th period I decided to go ahead and go to a guidance counselors office because if you do that then whatever class you had you're aloud to skip... Well going there my smart *** decided that it would ok for me to make stuff up about myself and I started talking about normal teenage crap about being stressed out and not having many reliable friends and tons of other BS. But when I looked at the counselors face I could tell she was a bit irritated about my visit... So my genius self automatically decided to tell her that my life had gone down a whole and that my father had been prescribed Vicodin and I was taking it and had become addicted... Well that got her attention and now she has me signed up for the freaking high school drug program which I have to go to... I've never even taken Vicodin in my life!!! And the whole mission was pointless I still had to go to class... Anyways should I come clean or what?

Will it ever come out? Or am I hopelessly hoping? Any proof would be nice but I would really like to hear your opinion... It has been over a decade...

So it's been going for a couple of weeks which kinda makes us worried because its no better from when it started... He says its only gotten worse since it started but we don't know why because he never fell or anything... His arm doesn't look swollen or discolored or anything it looks like a regular arm... He says the pain starts just around his wrist through the forearm up to a couple inches above his elbow we no he has a bad shoulder so we thought he might have pinched a nerve or something... Any ideas on what his problem is?
