  • Does anyone know how to make simulated Kobe beef?

    While in Japan a woman from Taiwan made her version of Kobe steak. It tasted just like the Kobe steak from the Kobe cows of which I had at a restaurant while there. The key here is she bought the steaks at a base PX store it was NOT Kobe meat. Like from a Kroger/A&P/Randalls/IGA/Piggly Wiggly etc. Anyone?

  • Does anyone know how to season/make "Kobi" steak?

    Way back while in Japan, I knew a Taiwanese woman who replicated the famous Japanese Kobi steak using beer, of all things, to soak it in all night. It was delicious and melted like butter when you ate it. Anyone know this recipe?
