When the earth was still forming, no life on earth was sustainable. Eventually over time the earth cooled, built up an atmosphere, and all that other good stuff. (im not a scientist or geologist so don't criticize me for my lack of knowledge) Well when life was able to form it slowly evolved into what it is today. My question is why did humans evolve differently then all other species. Why is human cognition different from every other living thing. I don't think anyone actually has an answer to this but i would love to here your opinions. I prefer a scientific answer, but wont mind if anyone religious wants to through their hats in on this one either. All answers are welcome!!!!

Slowly losing my grasp on what’s reality

Is life nothing more than what’s in front of me

Searching for answers only to find

That I never had vision, I was always blind

Afraid of what I cannot control

Weakness takes over as stress takes its toll

Eventually my mind starts to numb

I want this nightmare to end, but it’s just begun

I feel so alone lost in a daze

Maybe I’m dreaming or it’s just a phase

Why does life torture me soo

Wounds deeper than skin, cutting right to my soul

Not finished but just wondering if its any good, or even worth finishing. All criticism accepted!!!

have a rhyme scheme to their songs but it sounds like a musical masterpiece, and a serenade to the world????

looking for a book like Lord of the Rings, Eragon, or something along those lines. No suggestions like twilight books, or harry potter. thx
