  • How many times a game do nba players use there go to move?

Like Allen iversons crossover Tim hard aways crossover tony Parker's floater Manu ginobolis euro step

    1 AnswerBasketball8 years ago
  • Please answer!!! Important!?

I want to get elite guard training as people have improved a ton while using it and even some nba players recommend and use it. But if thousands of people use it than how am I supposed to be better than all those people when were all doing the same practice and drills what will make me better. should I use it and what else could I do that's extra to make me better then those people because only a few make it so how can I get the best of the program and be better then other players who only use the program.

  • Would this be hard to block?

If you're playing a guy 1 foot taller than you after creating space with a crossover and stepping back and fadeing back would this make it harder to block. But first you get them off balance with a through the legs hesitation then a quick drive trying to get in front of them with a long out reached arm then pulling the ball back stepping back when there momentum is going forward and shoot quickly.

After created space pull up so the ball is above your head and goes straight up when released in a high arc and then falls down into the basket while your shoulder lean back and your feet jump forward so that it goes straight up as you lean back so that there hand isn't over the ball and it goes straight up high after a quick release with a quick follow through and then finishing the shot.

  • What nba player do I play like?

I like to use screens to get open threes that I usually make but can create my shot that well except for using a step back jumper. I get most of my points off of screens where I call for a screen and use the space to get a quick 3 or mid range shot off which I usually make. My shots off the dribble are usually crossovers into floaters or hook shots. I have fairly good handles they usually don't get stolen and I play point guard and my dribbling isn't usually used to get a shot it's to get a pass for a teammate but my shots come from using my big man or another player to set a screen and then I use it to get open shots. I'm also good at moving without the ball and getting open and use that a lot to get open shots.

I average about 10 points and 8 assists

  • How much better will I get doing this workout? P Lease answer?

I start by doing basic dribbling drills but through two cones about the width of a basketball or a little more like a basketball and a half and I do each basic move about 50 times between the cones so I practice dribbling low and work on my tight dribbling in game. Then I do different dribbling moves on a chair game speed where I dribble up as fast as I can run with the ball and then do the move I think about doing. I do this game speed till I drop. Then i go game speed as fast as I can between tight cones until I drop and the same thing with two basketballs. Then I practice each move while going through tight cones game speed. Then i practice dribbling up and down the court as fast as I can and then I do it with two basketballs. I do that Till I drop. Then I do random crossovers up and down the court game speed. Then I practice shooting off the dribble where I dribble do a move and then shoot I practice fades and do various drills to practice shooting mechanics. I also do pistol pete drills and all the basic drills and I also play 2 hours a day of just shooting from random spots and doing a crossover and shooting and doing layups and stuff. I also workout and practice jumping and weights. I do all these drills with a plastic bag on and get two balls with a plastic bag on and do two ball drills for 15 minutes to 30 minutes every day. I also play in a league and every drill I mentioned the ball is in a plastic bag except for shooting drills. (Kyrie Irving dribbled with the ball in a plastic bag to improve his handles.) thanks for answering!!!
