Broken parakeet blood feather?
I have two parakeets, a male and a female, and they get along besides the occasional peck fight, but there is never any blood or injuries. One morning, I went to check on them. (This happened about a week ago) My female parakeet had some dried blood on her cheek, and her wing feathers had dried blood on them too. There was also dried blood ( a splash) on the bird's toy ladder, and the wall behind the bird cage. The male parakeet had no blood on his nails or beak, so I don't think he's the culprit. Could this be a broken blood feather? If it isn't, what is it?
