  • What will the spread be for Jaguars vs Broncos in Week 6?

Based on how awesome the Broncos are playing and how poorly the Jags are playing, I am curious to see what the spread will be when the Jags play the Broncos IN DENVER. The Jags are 13 point underdogs going against the inept Rams, so with a team like Denver, what do you guys think? Will there be a record 30 point spread?

  • I have AT&T U-verse internet and TV + Vonage phone service, but am experiencing problems?

Earlier this week I switched my phone service from AT&T (the U-verse package) to Vonage. So now I still have AT&T U-verse minus the phone service. Anyway, I installed the vonage phone adapter and made the necessary connections. The internet and phone work fine, but now when I use my TV it freezes after 10 seconds on a channel and does not get corrected unless I change the channel. If I disconnect the Vonage adapter and go back to the old setup, everything works perfectly again.

My question is, does anyone have Vonage phone service along with AT&T U-verse that has heard or experienced a problem like this and know how to correct it?

  • Why do fans automatically consider Jets an elite team instantly with Favre?

I understand Brett Favre is a legend and is one of the greatest QB's to ever play the game, and I respect that. But I have heard many predictions that this team could reach the playoffs and possibly the Super Bowl. Need I remind everyone that Favre still has to assimilate into a very mediocre offense that is not as well built as Green Bay was in past years. In addition, they have to play the Patriots twice as well as the underrated Bills (for those who don't remember, the Bills beat Favre and the Pack in 2006) so I feel they can also challenge the Jets and win at least one of two games. Jets should be a lot better, I agree, but those who are saying playoffs are a lock should think twice

  • Do you feel the Buffalo Bills are underrated this 2008-09 season?

Now with the acquisition of Brett Favre to the Jets and Brady on the Pats, the attention on the AFC East will be on these teams, leaving the Buffalo Bills flying under the radar as usual. Known as heavy underdogs in the NFL, I think they will finally break through and get back into the postseason for the first time since 1999.

Before everyone puts down my notion, consider this: Buffalo had 14 ppl on IR last year (most on NFL), lost last second games at home to Denver and Dallas, starting 1-4, the Kevin Everett situation, and getting humiliated by the Pats at home, yet still remained in the playoff race till week 15. They showed tremendous courage in a season filled with adversity.

This year, they have beefed up on defense with the acquisitions of Mitchell and Stroud, not to mention Peters should be back to anchor the O line and a healthy secondary. Lynch should be able to provide the spark at RB again, and now have two legit WR threats in Evans and newly drafted James Hardy. The question of course will be the steady play of Trent Edwards. Firing Steve Fairchild was definitely the right move to get this offense back in shape and it should be a little better in my mind. I now realize Favre with the Jets will be a bigger challenge, but Buffalo was able to handle him 2 years ago at home when they beat Green Bay, and I feel Favre won't instantly become a dominant QB trying to fit into the Jets system. In addition, the schedule seems a bit softer this year, as they are playing 4 games with the NFC West (which is easier to play than a tough division like the NFC East last year) and they are gaining confidence and have the talent to at least make a wild card run. Also another thing to consider: the play the Pats at home in week 17, when the Pats could have already home field locked up, and could possibly rest starters giving Buffalo a small chance in that game possibly adding another win.

I know, there will be many ppl who will say it is impossible for Buffalo to get anywhere in a stacked AFC, and you might be right about how they need a few more years, but all I'm saying is I wouldn't sleep on Buffalo, they have a few playmakers and have a chance to go 9-7 or 10-6 if things work out. Your thoughts.

  • Does anyone feel Home Improvement is an underrated show?

I think the show Home Improvement, although about 10 years since its finale, is an under appreciated sitcom that has plenty of humor and good storyline. From Tim Allen's antics on his Tool Time show, to running gags like his neighbor Wilson's strange words of wisdom and hiding his face, to the adventures of his three kids and their journey through childhood, I feel it is a quality show that is quite appealing. Does anyone agree?

I am currently a 3rd year pharmacy student in a 6 year program in St. Louis. I am aware pharmacists have opportunities in industry settings, going as far as working in research and development. I am just curious, how does a PharmD differ from someone with a PhD in pharmaceutical sciences in the aspect of research? Does one have more prestige over another? If any pharmacists who are employed in industry who have such experience, as well as advice to take to chart such a path
