  • How to calculate air pressure limit in an air tank?

I calculated the Volume to be 0.2441 with all measurements of radius and height in inches. Volume was at 0.00619952 when units of measurement left in Meters.

Knowing the volume, is there a way to calculate how much air pressure can fit inside that space?

Steel construction, hollow pipe closed on both ends, 2.5mm between outer diameter and inner diameter. Length/Height of Pipe to be filled with compressed air is 1.54 meters. Radius = 0.01775 m

  • How to propose to girlfriend the proper way?

I already asked her dad and got permission.

I know I should get down on 1 knee. The question is, do I hold the box open with the ring inside of it as I am asking the question?

Or do I just hold the ring? (no box)

  • 90's kids versus the kids of todays. Opinions?

So I noticed something. I know this is not all kids, but it is definitely a big difference in behavior between now and back in the 1990's.

In the 90's, kids went to Chuck E Cheese, Toys R' Us, and played G rated gameboy games like Pokemon. They played hide and seek and tag. The worst show they watched was the Simpsons and they mostly watched Nickelodean and Cartoon Network and Disney. They had no idea what Gay people were and they did not pay attention to politics as children.

Now, kids go to rated R movies with or without their parents. Kids watch Family Guy and shows on Adult Swim. They watch reality TV shows about sex and drugs on MTV and ABC Family(not a family channel anymore). They play rated M(mature) video games on their PSP, PS3, or xbox 360. They have smart phones, less adult supervision, and many parents let their kids go out in skimpy clothing late at night to hang out with "friends".

Every year, I see 9 to 16 year old girls wearing less and less. This past summer, they all ended up looking like strippers and the boys looked like thugs.

What is going on in this world? Do you think it has to do with the generation that raised today's children? That generation being those born in the late 70's-early 80's.

90's kids were raised by the generation born in the 60's.

I was a 90's kid. I did not learn about sex until 6th grade, which is when people started dating. I did not hear my first curse word until 6th grade as well. Now a college grad, I see grade school 5-12 year old kids cursing and doing things that I did not start doing until highschool.

Our culture is fading fast into one where parents no longer raise their children or care what they do.

  • What should I Master in? Engineering Management or Supply Chain Management?

I graduated as an Industrial Engineer and work with a good big company as a Process and Manufacturing Engineer.

I was interested in Supply Chain Management. Yahoo says it is one of the happiest majors. Many websites show that it has a very good salary outlook and that jobs are needed in the field.

Everyone is telling me to go for Engineering management. I am told that it is more broad and a better career choice. But the average pay is $10,000-15,000 less per year when compared to supply chain management on salary.com and payscale.com. however, it does seem just as interesting as Supply Chain management. i wish i can do both, but i have to choose one.

Both are 2 year, $30,000 programs.

What would you choose and why?

  • Need help with Excel formulas. ASAP?

I have been trying to figure this out at work. My boss wants me to do this and I have already told her I don't know how, but she wants it done anyway.

I want a formula that sums up the number of hours spent for a specific project for a specific person.

I attached an image of the example. The highlighted yellow area is where I want the formula to be. http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7146/6642607717_00af...

I want the formula to look at a persons name in Column A, then look at a certain project in Column B, and count the number of hours in Column C for that specific project.

Row A, B, C, etc. could have the same project under the same person, but different hours. I want the total of those hours to be added up for that specific project for that specific person.
