When I went through meb while still active, I was found unfit. DA 199 stated 80% army 90% VA.It also stated in 199 combat related. My active pay switched to retired pay, I had an allotment that payed for my auto loan. I was told it would carry over to my retirment pay. It didn't ,I tried to reconciliat whith the bank, was told this is a business after receiving a payment . My car was repossessed last night untill I come up whith $1000 it goes to auction Nov 14th.

Now I get final desission from VA, and my RAS says VA waiver my whole retirment? When I signed the 199 with my pueblo back in may, she showed me VA amount and Army retirment amount. She said I would get both? I've also been on SSDI disability, does that make me possibly else gable for IU?

Whenever car is slowed down have to keep foot on gas otherwise the car stops running. How can i fix this? what are all the things i should look at to try and solve this problem? help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I applied for the MILES program, was approved for a certain amount.I chose a MILES certified dealer, and a vehicle wich met the criteria. Its been 5 days now, and I received a call from the car lot. They state that MILES has contacted them and said I can't have the monthly payment that I have, due to an allotment on my LES. Now they want me to bring back the car and choose another, or give them around $4000 more down payment to lower the monthly payments to meet what they say miles says. My payments are under what I was approved for by MILES? Any Advise?

Im getting ready to report to first duty station at Ft. Riley KS. Were not bringing the kids right away.Whats going to happen at inprossesing?Will we be separated?Barracks/hotel...Or will they let me get housing? Ive already looked at off base housing there just in case?? Im 34 yrs old, 5-9 185lbs I work in construction(framing,roofing)

I ran the mile in 9:09 first time in like 15+yrs I've ran. not that great at pushups and situps.Little bit of a gut not alot.Im not afraid of going, actualy looking forward to it!!I understand that most recruits are going to be like 10+ yrs younger than me.Will this have a negative impact on me there, them finishing befor me or doing more pushup and situps than me?

Do you think there are any advantages to my age that I can capitalize on while there?

I had an operation 17 yrs ago,plate pins in ankle,...@five yrs later had them removed (for military) but didnt go in. Hospital doesnt have them,Dr has joined new assoc. , said old records MIGHT be in storage....what if there not?What happens then?

If I took the ASVAB for Navy and IF I dont get in is that test score good for another branch?Or would I have to retake it?

Ok had re-evaluation done today by original Dr.(see past questions) Doc says Im in full remission and there are no signs of any current psychiatric dissorder.Now its up to militay and MEPS Drs.

In light of this, what would you say ? Do you think I might have a chance? Going for US Navy trying for rate of SEABEE.

If not Navy then Ill go across the hall to the army for engineer core.

Im going back for a re-evaluation. 6 yrs ago I was diagnosed with depression.( please see my other questions) I am 100% better in my own eyes.No meds or anything .Other than daily stresses that we all feel in life, I feel fine.But I feel nervous about tomorrow, like Im going for final exams !! Would you say that its normal to feel little nervous.I mean, a poor outcome would basicaly DQ me from military.Military is something I realy want to do.

I want to join military, and wass just curious what the highest MOS demands are? Is there a link to show whats in demand?

Ive been talking with Navy recruiter, but today for some reason an Army recruiter called me...After talking to him about my interests, and all thats going on trying to get in to the Navy with my med backround(see my other questions) He said that wouldnt be an issue with them, and that i could get a $20,000 sign on bonus.

So heres the questions.

Which do you think is better Army or Navy for construction background?

Why is he blindly offering such a generous sign on bonus?

How could med backrground be an issue for one service but not another?
