I have an old Acer Aspire1. It works fine, problem is the monitor is broken so it is permanently connected to an external monitor. My simple question is:

Will it work if I remove the lid for my own convenience?

I have 500 movies on my pc, I would like to add the just the word "English" to all of them (for sharing purposes). Is there a way to do that w/o renaming each movie title individually? TY

I currently have NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce430 can I upgrade that to GTX260 and if so would it be a noticeable improvement. I do understand I will also need to upgrade my power supply to a 450W PSU.

I have Adobe Photoshop CS3 and a friend of mine was telling me about a program she use to have called Photoshop Deluxe, and I was wanting that but I have read and found that Adobe done away with that program and created Photoshop Elements in it's place. Now my question is: is Photoshop Elements built into Photoshop CS3 or is that something I will have to get separately?

My Desktop PC will not restart using START-> SHUTDOWN-> RESTART. IT does not restart, shut down, hang anything. It just does nothing. I have WIN2000 Professional O.S. Any ideas would be much appreciated. I went to microsoft chats to help and nothing, searched the web and nothing, before I start wasting my time looking any further I am turning to my friends here. Any info will be helpful.

My temp guage works, which tells me my antifreeze is getting hot. It also tells me my thermastat works. But it blows cold.

Here is the catch, my airbag light flashes, when it is not flashing then the heat blows out HOT. What could my problem be? Would it be just that my heater core somehow isn't functioning right or is it prolly got something to do with the airbag light flashing, since it works fine when it is not flashing??

I am recording my own NexTel ringtones but all I have is my speakers and a mic. what do I need to get to have a good quality sound? Right now it sounds kind of like a little bit of an ecko and it sounds "distant". how would I improve the sound quality?
