Hello, sorry to bother you but I just came across a post of yours in Yahoo answers where you stated you had a signed copy of Pink Floyd's More album. If you still have it, I might be interested in buying off you if you'd like. Thanks

  • Do I need to file Business tax?

I just started up a business in September which is the end of the 3rd quarter of the tax year.

I haven't conducted business yet, nor received any income as of yet. The only things I have incurred are a few "start-up" costs such as filing fees, business cards, web domain, etc.

So I'm wondering if I still need to file business taxes for that 3rd quarter of 2011 and just claim my losses?

I am currently looking thru the IRS website but of course not finding the answers too quickly, so I thought I'd try here.

    Thanks

  • '85 RX-7 Idler Arm Bushing install?

My son's 85 RX-7 needs the Idler Arm bushing replaced. Just wondering if this is something that can be done easily by him or does the bushing need to be pressed fit into the Idler Arm by a shop?

  • \winnt\system32\config\system file missing or corrupt?

I got this error today on my w2k system. Everything I can find tells me to reboot by way of the system disk or by safe mode and perform a repair.

Problem is, I can't get my system to reboot from the setup CD nor go into safe mode. I just get the same error.

Any suggestions besides throwing the system out the window?

If I can just get it to start up, I'll save my files and gladly buy a new PC this weekend.

  • Real estate taxes, where to claim?

I'm using a tax prep software and during the process I'm asked to list the taxes I paid per the tax form mailed to me by my mortgage company. I don't pay taxes by way of my mortgage, rather I have the money put aside to earn interest and then pay the taxes myself every 6 months when they are due.

The software and tax form asks the amount of taxes paid based on box number whatever of this tax form I got from the mortgage company, but as I stated, that box is empty. How do I claim these taxes on my tax return? If I list them in this box entry and yet the IRS sees that entry as zero or empty, won't that throw up a red flag and possibly generate an audit?

Do I simply enter these taxes under the "sales taxes paid" deduction?

  • Removal of Mat'l = Strength?

Can someone please explain in simple terms why or how it's possible to strengthen a beam of metal by boring out holes.

To clarify, consider a large crane, the beams are usually of triangular shape and they also have either round holes or triangular holes in the beam.

It has always been my understanding this practice (of course the hole size and number is a calculated amount) not only lightens the beam, but also reinforcing it.

    Can you expain this?

    Who is she?

  • Bees Nest - How do I kill the nest?

This is an odd one...in the field next to my house I found a nest of literally thousands of bees (yellowjackets I'll assume) all nested onto the stalk of a weed plant. They were obviously settling in for the night and cold temps.

There is no nest as you would think, they were just on top of one another, wrapped around this weed stalk (the stalk is about 1" diameter). I would estimate the "ball" of bees was about 12" high and tapered to the bottom at about 6" diameter.

Kids play and walk through this field, I myself just about walked right into the nest when I noticed it.

My question is, what is my best approach to killing these bees before someone gets hurt?

  • Complete control of my system?

Is it possible for someone to be able to do this?

I have, for the last year or so found folders, oddly named folders with pics in them. Pics I didn't take. Pics of Asian girls and landscapes....nothing porn, not that I've seen yet. I've also found some company's whiteboard notes of their business plan. Stuff I doubt they want in the public. I've deleted these folders only to find them again and the more I dig, the more I find. I've also found screen shots of not only my email accounts, but others.

I have anti-virus and firewall set and they find nothing.

How do I fix this problem before I end up having the feds at my door for something I'm not doing?

  • Is Yahoo spinning it's wheels?

Yahoo claims they are recording ppls IP addy's in chat rooms, but correct me if I'm wrong...if a person has a router, doesn't that prevent Yahoo and others from seeing/getting their actual IP addy?

  • How's the Nata emails going?

Just wondering if everyone who's been getting her emails are still getting them? No request for $$ yet, just the local international airport.

I have my IT guy here running the lilyway addy thru some program that he claims can give us an actual physical origination address.

If this is true, should I post it here for everyone to see?

I'll forward it and all the emails I have from her (made a seperate folder just for her) to the feds.

  • Adult webcam..legal or not?

My gf's 11 yr old daughter was caught watching a guy on his webcam in yahoo chat. Yeah, you can guess what he was doing and where the cam was focused on. My gf said she looked at the chat session and the guy stated she had to be of legal age to view his cam, she claimed she was without stating her any age. He claimed to be 17 but looking at the pic on his profile I doubt it highly. His profile is also an adult rated profile, so one must be listed as 18 in yahoo to view it. It also claims exactly what he does on his cam and that you need to be of legal age to view and that he can not be responsible if you are viewing and are not actually of age. My (and my gf's) question is, can this guy actually do this and not get into trouble with the law? Is he safe by stating what he does and having his profile as adult? What if she did state her actual age and he still let her watch?
