She is both excited and scared, as am I. How do I comfort her and make her feel that everthing is going to be all right?

I was considering joining MENSA, but I'm not sure if it's worth it considering the $40 entrance fee and $69/year membership fee. The communities don't seem that active from what I've seen online (most of it is password protected, so maybe there's a lot going on behind the scenes that I just don't see). I'm stalled in the middle of a career change, can they help me with networking and finding a job, or is it purely a social group?

I'm an American visiting Mexico. I drank a little tap water (maybe a half gallon) from the hotel bathroom faucet my first night here and 2 days later I'm still on the toilet more than Oprah after a KFC visit. Apparently drinking the water here is not good. WHY DIDN'T ANYONE TELL ME?

Having a President who is that scientifically illiterate seems like a huge problem to me. Can we expect him to make any sensible decisions regarding science funding or will his faith cloud his judgement?

I have a gallon of gasoline in a can. I don't remember if I previously mixed 2 cycle oil into it or not. Is there a way to tell? Is it safe to run it in a 4 cycle motor if it has oil in it? Can I mix more 2 cycle oil into it to be safe, or will that make it run too rich if it then has double the oil ratio? Do I just need to get rid of it?
