1999 Pontiac Grand Am GT Overheating?
I have had it just about up to here with this car. It is a 1999 Pontiac Grand Am GT 3.4 engine. I have had just about everything done on it yet the car still runs hot, about 215 degrees when idling. I have had the head gasket, sensor, thermostat changed and the fans adjusted to kick in when they are supposed to. There are no leaks from the hoses or radiator. There is a leak from the overflow tank when the car is shut off after running a while. I do admit I have gone to my local mechanic who is pretty competent. The only option I have left is going to a GM dealer and have them look at it.
Any ideas on what else might be causing this problem?
5 AnswersPontiac9 years agoTraveling to Boston soon?
I want to head up north to Boston in a couple of weeks. Went through hotel reviews and some noted it was on the bad side of town. Where can I go that will put me right in the heart of the city? A safe area and clean hotels is what I am looking for. Any help?
5 AnswersBoston1 decade agoMy transmission is burning oil, my mechanic says it is better left alone....is that correct?
I have a 2003 Mitsubishi Galant. The transmission has been on it's last legs according to two different mechanics for more than 20,000 miles now and runs with no problem. The other day during a routine oil change the mechanic checked the transmission oil and found it was dark and mentioned the transmission is burning oil and on it's last legs. Same thing was told to me some 20,000 miles ago as mentioned. This current mechanic told me it would do more harm than good if I changed the transmission oil. Could anyone tell me if that information is correct.

I was speaking to someone who told me it is possible to copy streaming videos off of the net. For example, abc.com has reruns of their hot shows on the net.....how can streaming video such as those on abc.com be copied to my hard drive?
